The Cwtch is a beautiful apartment, 1 of 7 in a 19th century house, enjoying an elevated spot in the village of Penally, with super views over the coast from the grounds.

Communal steps lead down to this boutique apartment, which has been beautifully renovated and stylishly furnished with a contemporary twist and antique pieces. The open plan living space with its gorgeous restored wooden floor boards is a welcoming retreat, cosy around the wood burning stove, enjoy meals prepared in the well-equipped, modern, fitted kitchen with its red retro appliances. The spacious double bedroom is charming with its super brass bed, crisp white Egyptian cotton linen and stylish ensuite shower room. There is a shared, sloping lawned garden with steep steps up to the raised decking area. Relax on your section on a summer’s day, the views are stunning down over the fields to the coastline and sea beyond.

Ideally situated, the beautiful sandy South beach is only a 10 minute downhill walk, ideal for families and popular with surfers and water sport enthusiasts alike. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning coastline on foot taking in its many hidden coves and sandy beaches. There is a village pub, The Cross Inn, serving food within walking distance, as well as the historical Penally Abbey Hotel and Paddock Inn  and a well-stocked village shop all nearby.

The medieval walled town of Tenby with its picturesque harbour is only a mile away, enjoy wandering its quaint cobbled streets with its range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a choice of sandy beaches. Take a fishing trip or a boat to Caldey Island, home to the Cistercian monks the atmosphere is tranquil. There really is something for everyone with a choice of golf courses nearby including Tenby Links Golf Club and Trefloyne Country Club, both worth a visit, while families will enjoy the range of family attractions including Folly Farm, Heatherton World of Activities, Manor House Wildlife Park and Oakwood Theme Park.

The Mount ( Name of building The Cwtch is part of) is up a steep single lane road. The road outside The Cwtch is a private road. The Cwtch is accessed via steps leading down to the front door. The car parking area is accessed by driving past the main building on the left-hand-side, park in any free space. Main entrance door reached by gate next to the parking area with a mixture of a concrete path and steps down to the front door. There is a handrail and lighting for night time arrivals. Garden extends to 20 roughly metres, mainly lawned with a steep incline. Steep steps up to decking area ( handrail) with patio furniture and extensive views of the coastline. Ground floor facilities include two bedrooms, open plan sitting room, kitchen/dining room, main bathroom with overhead shower. Walk in shower in en suite. Kitchen has extensive worktops and low-level oven. Well-lit sitting room, (natural and artificial lighting). TV with Teletext operated by remote control. External lighting system to the outside of the property automatically activated at dusk. Guide dogs welcome. Public Transport (local bus service) approx 600 metres to sheltered bus stop. Train station 10 minute walk away.
