The Longhouse is a traditional, stone, long barn, beautifully converted into a high quality holiday cottage just for two, set down a country lane outside the village of Llanteg. Step into the open plan living space with modern, fitted kitchen and comfortable sofas to relax on, French doors open to an enclosed paved patio and lawned garden. It is deceptively spacious and stylishly furnished with contemporary and traditional pieces which compliment the retained original features of exposed stone work and A frame beams. Uninterrupted rural views can be enjoyed from nearly every room. The study provides additional space to read, while the bedroom is a delightful retreat. Neighbouring The Corner, the owners home, the extensive shared garden has been cleverly divided with natural screening and landscaping to give each cottage its own individual space, ideal for sitting out on the patio and enjoying an al fresco meal on a summer’s evening.

Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird and wildlife lovers, follow the no-through road from the cottage and take the footpath through the woodland down to Amroth beach where you can enjoy refreshments as there are several pubs, restaurants and cafes before the walk home. Explore the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starting with the quieter beach of Marros which neighbours Amroth and travel West along the coast to Wiseman's Bridge and on to Saundersfoot and Tenby.

A visit to the nearby Colby Woodlands and Gardens should not be missed the colourful displays of Rhododendrons and Azaleas are a delight. This is the perfect getaway for couples whatever the season.

This Access Statement has been prepared by the owner for your information; it is the most recent version that we have received. This statement has been prepared as objectively as possible, however with such a wide remit oversights may be made.

Approached from an A-road then approximately 1 mile of narrow country lanes. Cottage is accessed by c8' double field gates on to level gravelled drive/parking area alongside property with c8” high step to front door. Alternative entrance off level paved patio area to rear of property, via double, glazed patio doors with c3” high step. Guests can be met on arrival by owner (if pre-arranged arrival time), who can assist with luggage. Garden comprises small lawned area with flowerbeds, small shingled area with pots, bounded on two sides by c4' timber fencing and a wrought iron gate which separates property's private garden from that of the owner's adjoining property. The Longhouse benefits from views over the owner's adjoining 2/3 acre garden with its flowerbeds, fruit trees and lawns. Level paved area to rear of property with patio furniture. Accommodation all on one ground floor with level access to all rooms. Facilities include large open plan living room with dining and kitchen areas, bathroom (with bath, overhead shower/whb/wc), second lounge/TV room/study room, double bedroom, very small utility room (with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge-freezer). Kitchen has worktops, extensive cupboards, built-in electric double oven with eye level grill, electric hob and under-worktop fridge. Well-lit rooms (natural and artificial lighting). TV and DVD player operated by remote control. External lighting system to rear and entrance side of property. Guide dog welcome.
