The Old Dairy is a beautifully converted stone barn, one of a range of renovated farm buildings set down an unmade drive near the imposing old manor house.
Deceptively spacious, yet still with the feel of a cosy cottage, it has been finished to a high standard throughout, yet retaining all its original charm with exposed beams and a mix of contemporary furnishings with lovely soft furnishings from the local Tregwynt Woollen Mill.
Step into the useful utility room which leads via one step down to the wonderful cottage style bespoke kitchen with Rayburn; well-equipped it is perfect for preparing family meals. An arch leads through to the dining room with a patio door to the enclosed, sun-trapped garden. Enjoy relaxing in the sitting room with its wood burning stove, ensuring a cosy atmosphere. A twin bedroom with en suite opens straight off the sitting room, while 2 separate sets of stairs lead from the sitting room to 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom one side and a further master bedroom with separate shower room on the other, conveniently giving 2 families ample space, but still perfect for just a family of 4. All nestled in the eaves with some restricted headroom and characterful A-frame beams.
The enclosed rear garden is a perfect spot to relax on a summer’s evening and dine alfresco with a paved terrace, 3 steps lead up to a lawned area and further paved patio with picnic table.
Set in rolling countryside, marvel at the dark skies and stars at night, yet only a 10 minute drive from the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline. Join the Coastal Path only an hour’s walk away to really explore its hidden bays and beaches, including the picturesque coves of Abercastle and Abermawr, still used by local fishermen today; or Aberferlin, below the village of Trefin and Porthgain with its recommended pub, The Sloop Inn, bistro restaurant and art galleries, are only 6 miles away. The nearest village is Mathry with its popular pub and the Siop Fach tea rooms and Collectables. The bustling harbour town of Fishguard with its range of shops, pubs and restaurants is within easy reach, while the tiny city of St Davids is well worth a visit with excellent facilities, Cathedral and Bishops Palace ruins, as well as one of the best beaches in the world, Whitesands Bay, less than a 20 minutes' drive. Wander the picturesque harbour village of Solva, with its bustling quay, cafes, pubs, galleries and Woollen Mill only 7 miles away.
The Old Dairy is a wonderful ‘home from home’ which holidaymakers cannot fail to enjoy and perfectly positioned to enjoy all that Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Absolutely amazing week, could not have asked for a better location or well equipped house! Perfect size and the little touches made it feel like home, we loved it and would like to buy it and stay forever!
fabulous week spent here, massive diolch to the owners. Whitesands, Trefin, Porthgain, Melin Tregwynt (lovely cafe), Newport (street market on high street every Monday) fabulous house, wants for nothing. Beautiful decor and furniture is so fitting for the house. We will be back, diolch yr fawr iawn.
What a wonderful cottage! We have enjoyed a delightful week here, weather not too bad either. Would recommend Marloes sands (and cafe), Thousand Islands boat trip, Carew, Manorbier, Pembroke castles, Castell Henllys, Cilgerran wildlife centre. AMAZING ice cream at Pointz castle with play barn for the kids. Also the bug farm - we've been very busy! Hope to visit again soon, Thank you x
Fantastic stay in the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in (we've stayed in a lot). We've enjoyed TYF Coasteering, body boarding at Whitesands, Porth Clais Harbour - delicious blackberry ice cream from NT shop, coastal walk around St Nons Bay and eating pizza at the dusty knuckle.
Very well equipped cottage. we used the BBQ very often, because we had some lovely weather!! Kitchen was very well equipped. Children loved the games cupboard. Overall we had a great stay.
What a truly wonderful place the Old Dairy is. All the extra little touches make it so special, especially the fabrics and lights. Had a fabulous stay and feel lucky that we were able to share this place. Thank you and for the welcome gift x

Had an absolutely fabulous time. The cottage is beautiful, everything we needed and more. Thoughtful homely touches...we didn’t want to leave! Visited some wonderful beaches, Marloes sands (super cafe), Druidstone Haven beach all to ourselves and scrummy scones and tea at the hotel. Hours spent jumping into the Blue Lagoon...cannot wait to visit the cottage again. Thank you so much.
Wonderful house for a family holiday. So many thoughtful details and so well equipped. We have made wonderful use of the garden blankets and cushions. Best of all...a “proper coffee pot (essential!)”. Thank you so much.
This is one of the best equipped and beautifully furnished cottages I've stayed in and its full of loads of thoughtful little touches that made our stay extra special. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
We have very much enjoyed our stay in your comfortable cottage. Strumble Head circular walk is very rewarding with fantastic views all around and lots of seals and seal pups can be seen at the moment
This is a beautiful cottage and the garden is a fantastic sun-trap. Recommend walking from Abereiddy to Treath Llyfn and spending the day on the beach. Boat trip around Ramsey Island is also great fun, we saw lots of seals. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us and for the welcome goodies - much appreciated, thank you. Our dogs loved Abermawr, Abercastle and Dinas Cross beaches. Could only have been bettered by warmer sunnier weather!
