The Retreat is a charming, spacious, detached house set in a small close of 8 properties on the edge of Little Haven. The bustling village facilities and picturesque cove with its sandy beach are just a 10 minute downhill walk away.
Finished to a high standard throughout and furnished in a contemporary style in a mixture of warm vibrant colours. The sitting room with luxurious leather sofas and marble affect fireplace is a welcoming retreat after a busy day exploring. The house has been extended to provide further open plan living space with a modern fitted kitchen with breakfast bar opening to additional comfortable seating and large dining table where you can enjoy family meals. French doors open to the sheltered enclosed rear garden with paved patio and lawn, the perfect spot to eat al fresco on a summer’s evening.
Conveniently situated, Little Haven’s pubs and restaurants give a choice of places to eat, there is also a shop all within walking distance clustering round its sheltered cove and beach, which are popular for swimming and sailing enthusiasts. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and explore over the headland towards Broad Haven, at low tide you can walk along the beach, where there are other pubs, cafes, a shop and restaurant to try, as well as a water sport hire shop for the more adventurous. A little further lies the pretty cove at Nolton Haven.

House spotlessly clean. Very well equipped.
Thank you for another enjoyable week at 'The Retreat'!
We have had a lovely tw3o weeks at The Retreat! The house has everything you need and is in a fabulous location. We lovbed watching the seals and their pups at Marloes. We were lucky enough to see porpoises too. Marloes Sands is also stunning. There is so much to see here we would love to come back.
A Lovely Week! Beautiful coastline and beaches. A lovely house that is so well equipped.
It was a superb location to welcome in the new decade. Lovely walks to local beaches and pubs. New Years Day dip in Little Haven was very well organised. A well situated house with great amenities. We would consider coming back! Dec 2019/Jan 2020
This is our third visit and despite mixed weather we had a wonderful time. We did all the usual things, walks on the beach at Broad Haven, Newgale and also saw the seal pups. Saw Solva at high tide and were amazed that sailing ships left there for the ‘new world’. Best experience this time was a tour around RAF Ripperston, a WW2 radar base. Also some excellent art.
Another lovely week at Little Haven. Very relaxing, plenty of walks along the beach and evenings in The Swan watching the tide coming in – perfect! Marloes Sands is well worth a visit – probably one of our favourite and most beautiful beaches anywhere. We were lucky to catch Lobster & Mor still open on the weekend – amazing lobster rolls! Can’t wait to come back!
Very relaxing stay. Walked coastal path, saw Chough and Grey Seals. Great food at The St Brides. Lovely place to stay in an amazing area.
Have had a wonderful relaxing week here at The Retreat. Everything you could wish for. Beautiful walks and coastline. Will be back!
House is really lovely with so many things to do with all the games, books and DVDs – ideal when weather not so good! Kitchen/diner is very well kitted out and makes a lovely space to be in. Little Haven is very picturesque from the top of the cliffs and great food at St. Brides Inn – Sunday carvery a must! Thank you :)
With 16 of us here at Easter, some of those sleeping at The Retreat it was great fun! The TV didn’t go on once!!! Great Sunday Lunch at The Swan, dinner at Stackpole Inn was good and The Shed fish and chips were fantastic as always. Had a peek in the church of St Brides – really beautiful for those that are interested. Went a bit further North this time to Abercastle – the tide was in but still stunning walks around the headland.
what a lovely house to stay in, fresh, bright, spacious, and very clean, with ferocious central heating which was much appreciated with the wet, windy, and cold conditions last week. despite which we had a really good week walking the dogs along the local beaches, eating and drinking out, Littlehaven is very pretty, primroses and daffodils everywhere, looking forward to staying at the Retreat again in the future.
13 of us were at the house, full but we made good use of the new extended dining room! The weather was a bit challenging but we still had a great time with the dogs and the kids on the beaches. Great food at Swan, Castle and Griffin at Dale. Really don't want to go home now
Thoroughly enjoyed our few days in your lovely cottage - time went too quickly. Our thanks to you both.
We've had a brilliant time this week, great weather and the house is a home from home - very easy to move in to. Had a delicious meal at The Nest Bistro - very friendly chef! Highly recommend fishing trips with Andy at Dale. Hope you have as lovely a time as we did.
