About Treetops

Treetops is a wonderful detached holiday home in a super position offering lovely sea views, yet tucked away down an unmade lane in the village of Lydstep.

Comfortably furnished to a high standard in a contemporary style, it is deceptively spacious, its modern well-equipped kitchen/diner offers lovely views over the fields and valleys with sea glimpses and is perfect for family meal times. Enjoy relaxing in the sitting room, the sea views are fantastic, patio doors open to a raised decked area, an ideal spot to sit with a glass of wine or dine alfresco on a summers’ evening looking out over the bay. Steps lead down to the enclosed, lawned garden with another sheltered patio where you can sit.

With two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor and stairs leading to two further bedrooms and a shower room in the eaves on the first floor, it is ideal to accommodate an extended family or two families. The master bedroom also offers delightful sea views. The useful garage is perfect for drying wet suits and walking gear or storing bikes and kayaks; for the adventurous and energetic, water sport enthusiasts and bikers will be in their element, while keen walkers will delight in the circular walks on offer to Tenby and Manorbier.

A short walk down the lane takes you to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, the best way to really appreciate this stunning coastline, take in Lydstep Point owned by the National Trust. Explore at low tide the Lydstep Caverns or visit the beautiful private sandy Lydstep Haven beach. There is a popular village pub, the Lydstep Tavern (seasonal opening), within walking distance where you can enjoy a meal, or visit Celtic Haven where you can treat yourself to a pamper session in the spa. For keen golfers, you can enjoy a round of golf here too or there are a further 2 courses to try within a short drive including Tenby Links Golf Club or Trefloyne.

There is something for everyone nearby with a range of family attractions including Heatherton World of Activities, Manor House Wildlife Park and Folly Farm, all within a short drive. The bustling medieval walled town of Tenby with its pretty cobbled streets and picturesque harbour is only 3 miles away, sample its range of restaurants, pubs and shops, as well as its 4 glorious sandy beaches. A boat trip to Caldey Island and its Cistercian monks is a must of any holiday. While to the west lies the pretty village of Manorbier popular with surfers, with its medieval Castle and wonderful sandy beach, as well as its highly recommended cafe and village pub.

We have been here before, hence the revisit- we had a wonderful time and would definitely come again! Such a lovely house and position- thank you for this holiday home.

The Chaplin Family

We have enjoyed walking along this beautiful coastline, some delicious roast dinners at Plantagenet House and Shakspeare in the Bishop’s Palace in St. David’s. The house has been perfect for our family. Thank you.

Smith Family

Bartletts/Owens

Fabulous week – accommodation and weather both fantastic. We know the area well and this is a great location to visit old haunts. Many thanks!

The Denby Family

Most enjoyable week with mostly sunny weather spent exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline and playing golf! The information provided on walks and pubs was very useful. The house was ideal for us and we particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings watching the sunset. Thank you!
