About Trefisheg Bungalow

Trefisheg Bungalow is a spacious detached cottage offering the most stunning views over the coast towards the lighthouse at Strumble Head and out to sea.

Comfortably furnished, the well-fitted kitchen/diner gives plenty of space to prepare a family meal. Enjoy relaxing in the sitting room, the sea views will sure to delight, the large windows really maximise the view, while the master bedroom has the same aspect, delight in leisurely lie-ins while you soak up the sweeping sea view.

Nestling beneath Garn Fechan, it is set in a prettily planted, enclosed garden, the side lawn and patio to the rear is the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening and watch the spectacular sunsets out to sea. This small rural hamlet is less than a mile from Strumble Head and the lighthouse, footpaths abound, wander the quiet flower strewn lanes and join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore the dramatic cliffs and hidden coves, home to colonies of seals and birds. Delight in the watching for dolphins, porpoises and seals, the seal pups are plentiful on the beaches in the Autumn, the area is a mecca for bird and wildlife enthusiasts.

The nearest beach is the small shingle and pebbly Porthsychan about 1mile away, while further away Pwllcrochans sand and shingle beach is suitable for bathing and as you have to walk to it from the coast road, it is seldom crowded, or try the stunning Abermawr and Aberbach beaches both with golden sand at low tide. The harbour town of Goodwick is only a short drive away and offers a small selection of shops and pubs, while the bustling town of Fishguard with its picturesque harbour in Lower Town offers additional facilities, Newport and the tiny city of St David’s are both within a short drive.

Trefisheg makes a wonderful holiday cottage from which to enjoy the peace and tranquillity this area has to offer.

Really lovely, clean spacious and light bungalow in great position looking out over fields to the sea and Strumble Head lighthouse. Very well kept garden in which to sit and watch the sun go down. Quiet and peaceful. We usually like to try somewhere new every year, but this time, really tempted to return. Thanks for providing a lovely place to be refreshed.

'Wonderful bungalow, so well equipped and very clean with superb views inland and out to sea. We enjoyed the delicious Welsh cakes, butter and jam and the wine and milk to welcome us. We visited St Davids Cathedral and we liked walking along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path each day often seeing seals with their pups. We have greatly enjoyed staying in your lovely warm bungalow. 'Location, location, location! Lovely Bungalow, well presented and clean. We felt that lots or care and attention had been paid to help us enjoy our holiday. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack, it makes all the difference when you arrive. We walked several stretches of the coastal path and used the Strumble Shuttle bus service. We cannot thank you enough for this lovely, warm and homely bungalow. We have stayed in many holiday lets down the years and this is truly the cleanest place ever, absolutely immaculate. The views are a joy and we have been so lucky with the weather.
