The country style fitted kitchen is well-equipped with an archway leading to the dining area, where you can enjoy leisurely family meals; French doors open to the large paved terrace all enclosed with steps down to the the huge lawn, giving plenty of space for children to play, while you dine alfresco on a summer’s evening admiring the distant sea views with only fields behind you.
There is a useful bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. Stairs lead to four further bedrooms on the first floor, the ones at the back all have sea views, while the very spacious master bedroom has French doors opening to your own balcony where you can sit and soak up the view with a morning coffee and really appreciate how close you are to the coast. A second staircase leads to the galleried games room which both young and old will love.
There is pub in the village itself within walking distance, as well as another pub and shop in the next village of Square and Compass. The best way to explore the nearby dramatic coastline is by walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The harbour village of Porthgain which is still used by local fishermen, is the perfect place for a pit stop on your travels with its well known pub, The Sloop, quality restaurant, and art galleries. One of Pembrokeshire’s finest beaches, Traethllyfryn, lies just over the headland. To the south is Abereiddy with is black shingle beach and the Blue Lagoon, host to the Red Bull diving championships, is well worth a visit. While to the north is the pretty village of Trefin with its popular pub and cafe perched on the cliff tops above the pretty bays of Aberferlin and Abercastle. The tiny city of St Davids with its majestic Cathedral and Bishops Palace is only a short drive away and offers a range of pubs, restaurants, shops and galleries to explore, while the beautiful Whitesands beach voted officially one of the best in the world, should not be missed, it is popular with surfers, both beginners and professionals alike.

Dr Beynon's Bug Farm is one of the most unique and exciting attractions that Pembrokeshire has to offer, so much so that it won an award for Most Exciting Business at the 2016 Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards. Also a working farm and Scientific Research Centre, The Bug Farm is now a popular visitor's attraction. With a Tropical Bug Zoo and Bug Museum, a Bug Farm Trail and Walled Garden, and even an indoor play area in their Bug Barn, there is plenty to do and see! They host regular workshops and events as well as offering lectures, tours and bug handling with up-close sessions. The Bug Farm is a Visit Wales Quality Assured Visitor Attraction, having also won Best Start-Up of the Year at the 2016 FSB Worldpay Business Awards and won the 2015 Plantlife International Meadow Maker of the Year for Wales. The Bug Farm is also home to the restaurant everyone is talking about, Grub Kitchen, which serves creative and delicious dishes where the ingredients are local conservation grade produce as well as edible insects - don't worry, there are a number of dishes available for those of you who don't fancy sampling bugs! The Grub Kitchen holds a Visit Wales Quality Cafe Award.
The Grub Kitchen is open from 12pm - 3.30pm during Bug Farm opening hours. On days when they are available, up-close sessions are available on the hour every hour between 11am and 4pm with a surcharge of £1 - please check prior to your visit.
Children must be supervised at all times and well behaved dogs are welcome on leads to the Bug Farm however certain areas are marked not suitable for dogs as it is still a working farm.

Pembrokeshire's County Show returns for another year! This annual event brings thousands of people to the Haverfordwest Showground each year. With a variety of crafts and stalls, there is also displays, exhibitions and performances to see! There is a whole host of agricultural machinery on display as well as livestock to see, a fair, and a number of horse and dog shows. Of course there is also plenty of opportunities to meet and greet with local businesses, as well as sampling some great local produce on offer in the food hall!
Held in various locations across the seaside town of Fishguard, this festival occurs annual over the August Bank Holiday celebrating jazz and blues music.
A fundraising day for local charities, Camrose Vintage Working Day displays all kinds of vintage machinery for all to see and learn about how things used to work way back when. With entertainment such as Sheep Shearing and Folk Dancing, trade stands including those selling local crafts, and refreshments available - it's a great day out for people of all ages!
The West Wales Wool Show in Narberth is a celebration of all things woolly. From beautifully hand crafted items, clothing and footwear to knitting wool, fleece and all the equipment needed to make at home. Demonstrations run throughout the day with stall holders sharing their skills and knowledge with visitors plus wool skill workshops such as felting. The main aim of the show is to support local wool producers and small craft businesses. Wool as a renewable resource is still undervalued and the show aims to bring this wonderful natural resource back into focus. The show is run by the Pembrokeshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers with support from PLANED.
Fishguard’s Autumn Festival will be holding a ‘Family fun and Fireworks’ on Goodwick seafront. Pembrokeshire Firespinners will be at the event this year as well as many other fun activities.
Come along to Trewern Arms for Fireworks and to celebrate Bonfire night. Enter into the Best-dressed Guy Fawkes' competition. Enjoy a glass of something warming and a pork roll before the fireworks display later on that evening.
Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! Refreshments are available on the street and in the surrounding pubs and restaurants. This event is free entry, donations are appreciated as any money given is then put towards next year's celebrations.
A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.
This Charity Horse and Dog Show is an annual event which occurs in May each year in St. David's. With show jumping, dog shows, stalls and refreshments, this is a great day out for all those interested in horses and dogs!
