Ty Uchaf Mill enjoys a superb position on the peaceful Strumble Head peninsular.
It has been extended and beautifully converted, with lovely lawned gardens enjoying uninterrupted views up towards the coast. And a walk of just 300 yards brings you to one of the finest views on the Coastal Path.
Sandy beaches are only a short drive away, as is Fishguard with its shops and amenities. But it's the peace and charm of the Mill itself, along with the magnificent scenery that draws people back year after year.
One entry in the visitors' book reads, 'our first revisit to the Mill after a period of 25 years... We don't know why it took so long to get back here, because the cottage was then, and is now, perhaps the best cottage we have ever stayed in'".
No cot and highchair provided, you are welcome to bring your own.

Cottage is in Trefasser, which lies approx. one and a half miles due north of St Nicholas village; reached by narrow country lane. Access is by farm gate beside the road, leading to parking space in the lawned garden for two cars; a third could be accommodated if necessary. The garden is enclosed on all sides. A dry stone wall, 2-3 feet high, separates the lawn from the neighbouring paddock. Main entrance door is reached by short downhill flagstone path, which culminates in three 9” high steps. There is an alternative entrance, to the sunroom, which is on a higher level but likewise has three steps before reaching the door. The garden is attractive but uneven throughout. There is a paved area with stone seating just outside the front door. The main door opens into the sitting room and kitchen/dining area; the ground floor bathroom is on the same level. The main bedroom is on the ground floor but is reached by a 9” step. The shower room with toilet and handbasin are also on this level but space is restricted. The second bedroom is the only room on the first floor and is reached by a narrow and twisting staircase. The sunroom is at the other end of the cottage and internal access is by a flight of five steps from outside the downstairs bedroom. The kitchen area has a low level oven. There is a TV and DVD player as well as internet access. The property has plenty of windows and is well lit artificially. There are two outside lights, operated from inside.
We loved the location and it acted as a base to visit all the pleasures in the local areas. The cottage was very comfortable and suited our purposes. We intend to revisit either this year or next.
Once again, a wonderful week at the Mill, with sunshine and beautiful evenings, even some sea swimming, and of course those coastal walks. We travel a lot, now we're retired, and usually are adventurous. Nine different places, in Jamaica this January for instance. But once a year, our week in the Mill is almost scripted, with must-do walks, meals and routines. We haven't even been to South Pembrokeshire yet! All due to the most beautiful part of the world, gifted with a wonderful home from home, obviously loved and cared for by its owners, and, I guess, all those who come to stay. Many, many thanks!
Thank you for letting us stay at your very cosy cottage. It is so peaceful here and we love the conservatory room at the end. A comfortable bed and simultaneous showers, wonderful! The weather has been quite good and we have had a couple of walks along the coast path.
Third stay at The Mill! Not bad weather. Plenty of seal and pups to be seen, plus peregrines and choughs at Pwllderi. The Mill itself is cosy and peaceful as ever - great to read and watch the cows from the end room.
A lovely week in a delightful cottage. We've enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom and the children have enjoyed the garden. We've explored St Davids and Fishguard and spent sunny days at Whitesands and Newport Sands. The children loved Folly Farm and we had to climb 'The Garn' as it is practically in the back garden!
Three of us stayed here for a lovely 4 nights. All very warm and cosy, ideal for this time of year!
A marvellous stay in one of the best cottages we have stayed in.
We came to this heavenly cottage for peace and rest after a very difficult year... when we arrived we felt immediately that this was exactly where we needed to be. The cottage is so fresh and clean, everything is so well thought out, and so obviously loved! It has become our number 1 cottage, and we have stayed in a lot! Thank you so much for creating this haven - WE DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE! We have imagined baricading ourselves in, and repelling all incomers - but then that wouldn't be fair would it?
Our simple pleasure in arriving turned into joy when we discovered this lovely cottage... we have absolutely loved being here! Somehow you want to bottle what it feels like to be here, words like calm, warm, beautiful, fun, mysterious and happy are just not enough!
We have had an amazing week here! A beautiful, cosy cottage in a stunning location!

Our first visit to Wales and what an introduction! Ty Uchaf is delightful; the coast and countryside are breathtaking: everyone was friendly and helpful...we can see why people keep coming back and we intend to do the same. A great week !
What a lovely home. Would you like to sell ?
We loved the cottage and its quiet setting, so close to magnificent coastal views.

We needed a break and that is exactly what we had ! First time at Ty Uchaf Mill- but not the last! The cottage and location are perfect
Our first ever stay in a self catering cottage and we couldn't have been luckier, wonderful cottage, superb location, all the conveniences you could need.
This if the first time we have stayed in this particular cottage, but we have fallen in love with it. Its tranquil, uinspoilt beauty make it the perfect place to be. I hope we can stay here again
Thank you for a lovely Christmas location: very serene and spectacularly beautiful!"
This cottage is our no. 1 choice and we are already planning our next stay. It is just perfect as it is - please don't change anything!
I am only 9 but I think that this cottage is great!
Another wonderful week here - our 6th visit. The only trouble is we feel we might never go anywhere else on holiday as we cannot resist coming back each year!
This is a wonderful cottage. If our lottery numbers come up tomorrow can we put in an offer?
