This October, the popular ghost story of The Woman In Black comes to the Torch Theatre in a great spine-chilling stage play. Arthur Kipps is invited to tell a ghost story and so recalls his past experiences encountering the "woman in black". According to the legends, she haunts Eel Marsh House and every time she is seen, a child dies. What will be the outcome of the ghost story?The play is recommended for those aged 14 and over. Pembroke Castle's Ghost Finder General, Howard, will take you on a ghoulish ghost tour around the Castle, as he tells you a selection of our ghost sightings and happenings from 900 year history of sudden death and disaster. Please note: The tour will last about an hour and a half, and is for ages 7 and up, they do ask that the children stay close to their parents and grandparents at all times, as adults tend to scare easily! Tickets are £5 each and are available from the castle shop or can be booked online. Halloween costumes are encouraged, but please wear warm outdoor clothing and suitable footwear - our tower's staircases are a chilling place at night! A torch is essential as you can only see ghosts with the help of light!

A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle's Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom. Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way! When you have finished, pop into the Gift Shop to collect your prize. It's a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower. While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups' can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents. The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. The triathlon with a difference is back once again! Spread across the three days, the Wales Swim takes place on the Friday night on Tenby North Beach, the Sportive on the Saturday and the Marathon on the Sunday. Athletes can opt for just one event or all three meaning everyone who wants to can get involved! Children can even get involved on the Friday in the Taff Kids event! It really is a great event with an exciting atmosphere, athletes and supporters are encouraged to get involved for the whole weekend!
Saundersfoot's newest triathlon is back for it's second year in 2017! Running the day before Ironman Wales, this triathlon is a sprint triathlon with a 750m sea swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run. The event is open to adults and children aged 14 and over.
Ironman Wales returns to Tenby once again in 2017! This incredible event brings a whole number of athletes and supporters to the streets of Tenby and the surrounding Pembrokeshire villages for the weekend. The 2.4 mile swim kicks off the event first thing in the morning, before the 112 mile cycle takes place, before athletes complete the course with a 26 mile marathon. Whether you're an athlete or a supporter, the atmosphere in Tenby is like nothing else in the world - definitely a recommended event to attend!
A military fortress, museum and cafe located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The museum at Chapel Bay Fort is illustrated and explains military technology and weaponry through the ages, with a variety of displays including artillery and associated tools and instruments, WW I, Bomb Disposal and Waterloo amongst others. Volunteers are on hand to answer any question and add to your appreciation of the displays.
Guided tours are conducted by a dedicated team of volunteers and provide access to areas of the fort which are otherwise out of bounds to the public. Tours present further information about Chapel Bay Fort and the defences of Milford Haven and the Royal Dockyard at Pembroke Dock, alongside information about the large exhibits displayed on the terreplein of the fort.
A tour lasts approximately 40 minutes, and is included in the entrance fee to the museum.
This is our second visit to your levley house in Angle. We love the village and surrounding area, especially the beachat Freshwater West. Although this time we tried surfing at Newgale beach and loved that too. We have been to Carew Castle and Tidal mill, shopped at Narberth, Saundersfoot and Pembroke. Thank you

Shopping in Pembroke and Narberth is a must, the boat trip and time at Caldey Island is our favourite peaceful haven. Our son loved Folly Farm and we all enjoyed Picton Castle. Our teenage girls loved the evenings on Angle beach. Thank you!
Great house and very well equipped. Lots of room for children to explore, our grandma enjoyed the games. Great beaches in the area did Pembroke Castle was a hit! Local pub is very welcoming and has a varied menu.
