'What a lovely place Y Sied is very peaceful and probably the most well equipped self catering cottage we've ever stayed in. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Thank you for the lovely jam gift set.' Gill & Colin Hagan
This was our second visit - so obviously we love Y Sied. Very lucky with the weather so lots of beach walks. Life here so different to the busy life at home. Very peaceful. Y Sied is a wonderful place to stay. Thank you
A lovely cottage, which was well equipped & homely. A great base for exploring this wonderful area so many amazing walks & the countryside is just beautiful. We really liked Newport which has some interesting eclectic shops with some really good cafes & restaurants
Lovely cottage in a very quiet, peaceful location. The weather has been lovely & warm & sunny for our 7th visit to Pembrokeshire. Really enjoyed our time here.
Lovely spot, the weather was great, fantastic walks & local brewery
'We love coming to Y Sied. Thanks so much for being so welcoming and making our 2021 memorable. Thanks too for the milk, mince pies and fizz!' New Year 2021, Tracy & Stephen

We loved Y Sied very comfortable & relaxing. So good to see the sea again. Thank you.
We've had a lovely week. Really enjoyed the cottage & the walks nearby. We've stayed in Newport a few times over the last 20 plus years & we think this is the best location. The garden area is a picture & a real pleasure to look out on. Thanks a lot.
"What a fabulous place to relax and rewind after the vigour's of lockdown. Great walks along the coast and across the hills, and lovely to see pubs, shops and cafes open again. Marianne & Simon are great hosts and did everything possible to make our stay in Y Sied as trouble free as it could be. Thank you so much, as we hope to visit again."
"Arrived stressed and tired, leaving relaxed & happy"
"FREEDOM! What a beautiful place to escape to at last "

We have had a wonderful week here in Newport. We were blessed with amazing weather. The views, walks and mountains are just spectacular! Feeling refreshed. We adored Y Sied and loved returning here every evening. Thank you so much.
What a beautiful place! Perfect little cottage with everything we needed for a lovely weeks holiday - we had a mixture of weather & the drying rack was handy! Wonderful coastal walks and a day kayaking, and also don't miss the views from the mountain behind the house.
Lovely, cosy and quiet week. A welcome haven from Covid anxieties. Perfect in every way
Exceptionally nice walks from here up the mountain and down to the coast
Wonderful coastline, marvellous food, friendly people and one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. Who needs to go abroad when you can come to Pembrokeshire?" Annette & Des Hoddy
Gorgeous stay and first time away from kids for more than 3 nights in 22 years! Arrived frustrated with ...... restrictions and cabin fever, leaving feeling reconnected with wonderful memories of beautiful Pembrokeshire. Thank you Simon & Marianne for being wonderful hosts!" Sarah & Mike Pagan, and Mini the dog
"Very much enjoyed staying in this beautiful space with fantastic beams & artwork."
"A comfortable well equipped cottage in a good location. An enjoyable week in lovely surroundings."
Y Sied has just the right blend of traditional Pembrokeshire 'cottage' - slate floors and thick stone walls, with the comforts of a charming holiday home. Plenty of sunshine - some bracing walks across Newport beach - a lovely week. Thank you
Lovely tranquil cottage handy for exploring Pembrokeshire area, thank you.
What a gorgeous hideaway and Newport also a wonderful find. Thank you for having us to stay at such short notice. We hope to be back for a visit again!
We had a lovely weekend at Y Sied….the cottage was just right for us with gorgeous views & a quiet garden to sit in. We’ll be back again
Very relaxing week in the sun
The cottage is just what we were looking for: quiet, comfortable and cosy. All the practicalities worked well and there was nothing we lacked. The styling and furnishing is very well done and gives a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. The location is great - near town but away from the bustle (such as it is) and very well place for the fields and hills. Well done! And thanks!
Great to come back to our lovely warm cottage after a cold wet day out! Weather could have been better but we love the area - wonderful scenery. Thank you
