From New Quay down to Fishguard; wild, rugged, and spectacular is how one would define this area. A coastline littered with little coves and old smugglers' caverns to explore. The north is very popular with walkers, cyclists and lovers of the outdoors all year round. North Pembrokeshire is often quieter than the South and during low season you could quite easily find yourself being the only person on your own beach to explore. Popular bases are Newport and Fishguard.

Historic

With plenty of impressive castles and ancient ruins North Pembrokeshire is a perfect place for history lovers. Not to be missed are the impressive ancient burial chamber of Pentre Ifan and the Celtic settlement of Castell Henllys.
