Primarily a pebble beach, Cwmtydu Beach is a small cove with plenty of rockpools. It is a popular place for spotting dolphins and seals, which has resulted in this cove being nicknamed Seals Bay by the locals. You can often spot seals lounging on the rocks here so be careful not to disturb, particularly during pupping season. Popular with walkers and kayakers, this small cove was likely a popular location with smugglers once upon a time due to the handy old lime kiln at the back of the beach.
Cwmtydu Beach is dog friendly all year round with refreshments available from the nearby cafe.
