Located in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Solva is one of the prettiest villages in Wales, with traditional fishermen's cottages clustered along the harbour. Solva is home to many gift shops, restaurants, galleries and cafés – and, of course, our excellent range of Solva holiday cottages.
Upper Solva enjoys spectacular views across St Brides Bay and is skirted on one side by the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path, whereas Lower Solva is at sea level and supports a number of fine shops and restaurants. Just under ¼ mile separates the two communities, but both have easy access to the natural, sandy-bottomed harbour.
The tiny, historical city of St Davids, with its excellent amenities, cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, is only three miles away and is a place that is certainly worth a visit. Additionally, the award-winning Newgale Beach, popular with surfers, is a fabulous, four-mile walk away along the Coast Path or, alternatively, you can get there by car or on the Pembrokeshire Puffin bus service in under 10 minutes.
Whatever you want to do whilst you’re in the area, our holiday cottages in Solva will be the perfect place to head back to at the end of each day. From stylishly modern sea-view apartments to cosy cottages nestled deep in the countryside, our range of accommodation is sure to include your ideal property.
