To the west is Porthclais and the famous Whitesands Beach with its seasonal beachside café, perfect for families and a draw for surfers and watersport enthusiasts. Bird and nature lovers will enjoy a boat trip to Ramsey Island especially in September to see the seal pups. To the east lies the picturesque village of Solva with its quaint harbour, range of facilities and the Solva Woollen Mill is well worth a visit.
