About Parker's Folly

Parker’s Folly is a charming pod set in the most magical spot with stunning views over the fields to the coast and St Brides Bay, it is just 100 metres from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, above Caerbwdi Beach. Tucked away in a secluded spot in the owner’s extensive grounds with its own lawned area, it is a wonderful sanctuary where you can recharge your batteries and escape the pace of modern life with bird and wildlife for company. 

4 steps lead up in via French doors to your compact open plan living space, cleverly and beautifully appointed with all you will need, enjoy the sea views as you relax, there is a practical shower room and the cosy bedroom also offers a view towards the sea. Dine alfresco or enjoy a glass of wine on a summer’s evening in your small landscaped garden, watch the sun slowly set out to sea, while the dark skies here are simply amazing. 

Set down a quiet lane via a shared driveway, with direct access onto the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, it is ideal for keen walkers, this is the best way to explore and appreciate this stunning rugged coastline, a track leads down to Caerbwdi Beach or head further round the coast to Caerfai Bay and the tiny City of St Davids with its majestic Cathedral and Bishops Palace, as well as a range of excellent pubs, restaurants, shops and galleries to try. Or head in the opposite direction to the picturesque harbour village of Solva with shops and pubs nestling round this popular inlet. 

The famous Whitesands Beach, popular with surfers both beginners and professionals alike is within a short drive or take a boat trip from St Justinians to Ramsey Island, this wild and birdlife sanctuary is a firm favourite, particularly to see the seal pups in September.

Parker’s Folly is ideal to escape from it all, relax, link up with nature and explore this beautiful part of the Pembrokeshire Coastline whatever the time of year.

The front door (two French doors) of the house is accessed by 4 steps with solid handrails either side. Gravel driveway on approach. The outside Utility Room has no step in. Ground floor facilities include: Kitchen area with low level oven/microwave and ceramic hob (with safety features) at worktop height. Low level dishwasher. Lounge has a pine pedestal table and 2 chairs. Linoleum flooring throughout Kitchen/Lounge, Shower room (wc, sink and shower) and Bedroom. Raffia mat in Lounge. Heating by ceiling halogen heaters or oil-filled radiator, with convector heater in Bedroom. Smart TV in Lounge is remote controlled. Well lit (led lighting). Handles for extra support in shower. Gravelled Patio and Barbecue area outside, to rear of property, three steps up.
