Ramsey Island is nationally recognised as one of the top places for wildlife. It has even been awarded the title, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The RSPB has committed to maintaining this quality reserve and as a result, you can see an impressive array of wildlife.
Along with a number of seabirds including choughs, guillemots, peregrines and ravens; you will see a flock of welsh mountain sheep, heathland plants and pond habitats. Visit in autumn and you'll be able to spot Atlantic grey seals during pupping season.
On arrival, you will be given a talk and map from the warden in the island's display room. You will then be free to explore the island at your leisure to see the seabirds, seals, flora and fauna.
