Broad Haven boasts the marvellous Broad Haven Beach which has been a favourite with bathers since the early 1800s. Shielded by impressive cliffs on either side, the northern end of this long, splendid stretch of sand has some striking geological features, including natural rock arches.
Broad Haven village is at sea level, which ensures long and unspoilt views of the bay and surrounding off-shore islands. The community is well looked after, with plenty of local shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from. And, for the more adventurous of visitors, Haven Sports is certainly worth a visit. A family-owned and run business, where everything water sport-related is available, the shop offers equipment such as surfboards, kayaks and wetsuits for hire from as little as one hour up to three whole days.
