Our 2021 Christmas Jumper Day fundraiser
The first fundraiser of many this year
As part of the celebrations for our 40th anniversary, we’ve chosen to show our support for Cancer Research UK throughout 2022 by raising money for this incredible charity which does so much to help those diagnosed with cancer.
Throughout 2022, our aim is to raise £40,000 in aid of Cancer Research UK so you can expect lots of efforts all year long!
We have big plans for the year ahead and simply couldn’t wait to start fundraising so we kicked off the year a little early in December 2021 with a staff Christmas Jumper Day. We swapped out our usual uniforms in favour of something a little more festive, with each member of staff paying a small donation to do so.
Not every member of the staff was feeling particularly Christmassy on the day however and so a “Grinch-tax” was imposed on those who chose not to wear a festive-themed outfit – in other words, a couple of us decided to add a few extra pounds in the fundraising pot instead of breaking out a jumper decorated in Santa faces and snowmen.
In total, we managed to raise £170 - not bad for a simple non-uniform day.
