Below we turn our attention to a blossoming young artist, Delyth Williams, who is channelling her inspiration and creativity onto canvas, now available to purchase online and in-store.
Who is Delyth Williams?
Born and raised in Newport, Delyth has spent years exploring the wonders of North Pembrokeshire and beyond. She’s spent many a day exploring the local National Park wandering through the local woodlands, discovering the nearby rock pools, trekking the hills and climbing mountains.
It is these adventures that have sparked her creative side and it’s clear to see in her work that she’s most inspired by the Welsh land and sea, nature and its ever-changing colours.

The Art
With each brushstroke, scratch, palette knife mark and splatter, she creates original acrylic paintings influenced by the colours, textures and movement of her surroundings. Each and every seascape and landscape Delyth creates are both personal and heartfelt.
“An extension of memories, seasons, smell and sounds all play an important part in each layer of colour and texture”, Delyth says.
Along with original paintings on canvas, she also offers made-to-order prints and bespoke commissions as a perfect memento or special gift for a loved one.

Recently, Delyth has become a member of the Fishguard Artisans; a collective of local artists, crafters and makers based in and around the Fishguard area. As of May 1st 2021, the Artisans opened up a new store on Fishguard’s West Street where you can browse and purchase Delyth’s art along with a whole host of quality handmade items and more.
