Cared for by the National Trust, Mwnt Beach is a stunning sandy bay sheltered by cliffs either side. Easily recognised by the quaint white church (Church of the Holy Cross) set next to the lone hill (Foel Y Mwnt) overlooking the beach and the surrounding coast, this is a must-visit if you're in the area. Take a walk to the top of the hill on sunny days and you'll be greeted with panoramic views over Cardigan Bay. Locals often regard this as one of the best destinations in the area for dolphin spotting - so make sure to keep an eye out!
Positioned on the hill above the beach you will find a seaside cafe and public toilets, the beach is just a short walk down the steps. Access to the beach is via single track country lanes, and there is a pay and display car park available. Be aware that dogs are forbidden on this beach between 1st May and 30th September.
