Skomer Island
Skomer Island is a real treat, particularly for those with a high interest in wildlife and sea-birds. Trips onto the island are a great way to get up close and personal with birds such as puffins, guillemots, razorbills and manx shearwaters. Trips landing and around the island are available from Martin's Haven, and visitors onto the island are capped at 250 people per day so as not to cause too much disturbance to the wildlife. These trips are extremely popular and so it is recommended to make your way to the departure point two hours before your ideal departure time, as queues are likely and trips cannot be booked in advance.
