The enclosed lawned garden is prettily planted and wraps around the house. Here you can enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening and soak up the views. The garage makes for useful storage of bikes etc and the outdoor shower is ideal to wash wetsuits after a day on the beach. Whitesands beach is a 10 minute walk and is popular with surfers, both beginners and professionals alike. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path nearby to explore this beautiful coastline, hike up Carn Llidi where the sunset is simply spectacular. St Davids itself with its Cathedral and Bishops Palace is approximately 1.5 miles away and offers excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries to explore.
Alternatively, there is a seasonal shop on the neighbouring caravan park where you can stock up on daily essentials. There is a nearby golf course for keen golfers with a beautiful coastal backdrop. A boat trip from St Justinians to Ramsey or round the islands is a must of any holiday; marvel at the bird and wildlife, with the seal pups in the autumn is a delight.

This October, the popular ghost story of The Woman In Black comes to the Torch Theatre in a great spine-chilling stage play. Arthur Kipps is invited to tell a ghost story and so recalls his past experiences encountering the "woman in black". According to the legends, she haunts Eel Marsh House and every time she is seen, a child dies. What will be the outcome of the ghost story?The play is recommended for those aged 14 and over. Milford Haven's annual Firework display which will take place on the Marina. This year’s event will take place from 4:30-8:30pm at the Mackerel Quay, Milford Haven Marina, and also include a music concert organised by local radio station 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire. A 10km festive fun run to raise money for broad haven playgroup. Milford's Torch Theatre once again brings a classic pantomime to stage - a must-see for anyone staying in Pembrokeshire this Christmas! The baby Princess Rose is given a curse from the evil Maleficent stating she will die on her 16th birthday but her Fairy Godmother steps in and Rose instead falls into a deep sleep which can only be broken by a handsome prince - this is sure to be a fantastic production by the Torch Theatre once again! Pembrokeshire band Honey Fungus are playing a live gig at The Castle Inn, Little Haven this December. The set combines well-known songs with their own acoustic music and stories. Pop along for some great food, a great atmosphere and some quality live music. The performance starts at 9.30pm.
Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.
A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle's Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom. Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way! When you have finished, pop into the Gift Shop to collect your prize. It's a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower. While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups' can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents. After the walk, what better reward than a nice warming cup of hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Courtyard Restaurant, or perhaps make it a lunchtime visit and enjoy the Spanish dish of the day with a glass of wine or beer! The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. With two different distances available, you can either enter the Middle Distance Ocean Lava event which is made up of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile cycle and a 13.1 mile run; or the Wales Triathlon Sprint Distance which is made up of a 750m swim, a 13 mile cycle and a 4 mile run. Whether you're an athlete or a spectator, supporters line the streets creating an amazing atmosphere and energy which definitely makes this event a must-see!
