Approached from A487 then approximately. 2 miles of narrow roads. Cottage is accessed via a driveway to the side of the property, which leads to a parking area (up to 3 cars). This area is to the rear of the property and the property is reached by walking down 9 concrete steps with side banister. Main entrance door reached by one 3-inch step. Pathway from road has a metal gate and then has a slight uphill incline but smooth path to main entrance. Alternative entrance through rear door, which is accessed via level path with one 2-inch step. There is a 9-inch step down into the entrance hall via that doorway. Garden enclosed and extends mainly lawned with slight incline. Level concrete slabbed patio area accessed by 2 steps with patio furniture. Further rear patio area reached by access via parking area up 9 concrete steps then 4 further steps. Picnic bench in place. Rear patio has an uneven surface and is fenced but there is a significant drop and children would need to be supervised. Ground floor facilities include sitting room, dining room (Small lip on to oak flooring from tiled hall floor to both rooms), kitchen with dining area and downstairs toilet. Small step down from kitchen to rear hallway/ downstairs toilet. First floor facilities include 3 bedrooms with steps between the front bedrooms and bathroom. (5 steps down and 1 up from front 2 bedrooms to bathroom) Steps are wooden and can be slippery when wearing only socks. Family bathroom is level with corner bath and shower. Shower has a small step to access and sliding semi circular doors. Second floor facilities include a playroom with limited height access and are reached by a 180-degree turning wooden staircase that can be slippery. There is only one banister and there is a gap between the staircase and window on the left hand side as you ascend the stairs. The utility area is reached via an external door and has a low ceiling so moderate height restriction. Sitting room has artificial lighting with TV with teletext operated by remote control. Kitchen has extensive work surfaces and a wooden kitchen table. Access between the kitchen table and cupboards is narrow, especially when people are sitting at the table. External lighting system to rear and front of property automatically activated by movement. Guide dogs welcome. Public Transport (local bus service) approximately 700 metres to bus stop.
