About Ty Eithin

Ty Eithin is a delightful lodge on a small exclusive site, less than a mile from the coastal village of Porthgain. Steps lead up into this comfortably furnished holiday home, the open-plan living space has a modern, fitted kitchen, a corner sofa to relax on and a dining area.

Sliding doors open to a decked verandah, a lovely spot to sit and dine alfresco, soak up the super rural views or alternatively, there is also your own lawned area with a picnic bench, a sheltered spot behind your lodge that gets the evening sunshine. The compact bedrooms make welcoming retreats.

Conveniently located, a walk of less than a mile down a pretty footpath through fields takes you to the picturesque harbour village of Porthgain, still used by local fishermen today, it is popular with divers and those that love messing around on the water. Explore its art gallery and popular pub, The Sloop Inn, serving good food and beer or why not try the excellent restaurant, The Shed. Take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to truly appreciate this stunning coastlines rugged beauty with its hidden coves and beaches. One of Pembrokeshire’s finest beaches, Traethllyfn, lies just over the headland. To the north lies, Abermawr and Abercastle, with their pretty sandy inlets, the village of Trefin has a cafe/craft shop and popular village pub, set above cliffs above Aberferlin, holiday makers will love this pretty sand and shingle beach with its natural rock arch and rock pools surrounded by rugged cliffs. To the south is Abereiddy with its blue sandy beach and the Blue Lagoon, once a slate quarry, is well worth a visit. The tiny City of St Davids, famous for its Cathedral and the ruins of the Bishops Palace, is only a few minutes drive away, it has a range of quality pubs, restaurants and art galleries to try or head to Whitesands beach, popular with surfers, both professionals and beginners alike and voted one of the best beaches in the world!

Approached from A487 then 1 mile of country lane to Llanrhian. 400m farm track (not paved) to Felindre Lodges. Gravel road into site with parking for 2 cars, adjacent to lodge, on gravel, 100m from entrance to site. Main entrance at side of lodge, immediately next to parking area, reached by three 9 inch wooden steps. Alternative entrance via patio/decking at front of property, accessed via three 9 inch steps and a sliding glass door. Small grassed area at rear of property (approx. 5m x 4m) with bench. All rooms on ground floor, three bedrooms, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, bathroom/wc/shower in bath, standard door access to bathroom and all other rooms. Kitchen/lounge area, low level oven, L-shaped work surface, open to lounge and dining area. External lighting at side entrance activated by movement sensor. Well lit rooms, natural and artificial lighting. TV with remote control. Public transport from Llanrhian during summer months.
