Above Tenby’s North Beach, only a short distance from the soft golden sand and the ebbing waves, you’ll find a stately parade of tall Georgian houses where at the end of the terrace, stands Harbour Heights. Step inside and you’ll be greeted with a communal hallway and grand staircase, of which lies four wonderful four-star apartments.

On the ground floor is Harbour Suite, the smallest of the four holiday lets within the building. Accommodating just two, this holiday home makes the perfect couples retreat all year round. Expect an open-plan living space decorated in a neutral colour scheme where you can enjoy restful evenings with your sweetheart in front of the electric fire.
The double bedroom complete with ensuite will be a welcomed sight after a busy day exploring this cobbled town, snuggle up in comfort and enjoy a restful night’s sleep. The high ceilings and large sash windows from this Georgian house make it an absolute dream for anyone staying here, with plenty of light flooding through the rooms.
Also on the ground floor is where you will find a communal utility room and access to the walled garden to the rear; a delightful spot for a summer barbecue when the weather is warm.

On the first floor lies the largest of the four apartments here at Harbour Heights. Goscar Suite welcomes families of up to 5 and offers a stately atmosphere in keeping with the rest of the house. High ornate ceilings with more huge sash windows flow through this holiday home, plus you even have a small balcony to call your own - a much-loved spot for those who adore watching the world go by and the everchanging seascape scenes.
The lounge/diner at Goscar Suite is decorated with hues of blue reflecting its coastal location and can be found just across the hallway from the stylish kitchen. There are two bedrooms, each with large windows but it is the double bedroom (along with the lounge) that grants access to the balcony.

St Catherine's Suite, Tenby
Follow the communal staircase to the second floor to reach St Catherine’s Suite. Another spacious home from home with high ceilings and long sash windows, this property sleeps 4 making it an ever-popular choice with small families and couples looking to holiday in Tenby.
Earthy green tones furnish the living room with a dining table, with quality drapes and luxurious carpet throughout. The centrepiece here yet again is the large window framing the seaside scenes outside.
The galley-style kitchen with a small breakfast bar is ideal for enjoying a morning cuppa before heading out for the day, whilst the double bedroom is where you’ll no doubt spend many an eve drifting off to sleep to the sight of the hypnotic waves on North Beach below.

Caldey Suite, Tenby
Last but not least on the very top floor of this Georgian house, you will find Caldey Suite. This third-floor apartment is set in the eaves of the building resulting in low windows looking out across the ocean of Carmarthen Bay.
Accommodating four people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin, those who stay at Caldey Suite often return year after year. Comfortable sofas in the lounge backed by a family dining table make for a lovely space to rest, whilst the compact fitted kitchen is just what you need for cooking tasty meals.
Once you’ve exhausted yourselves running around the county exploring, return here to curl up in front of the electric fire on a chilly eve or draw yourself a soothing bath and ease those tired muscles.

What to Do in Tenby

Step out of the front door of this lovely Georgian townhouse and you will be immediately hit with the sounds and smells of the seaside. Cross the cobblestones and follow the pathway downhill to reach the spectacular soft sand of North Beach where you can lay sunbathing under the beaming rays as the waves lap. You’ll often find open-water swimmers paddling the waves here, many head here to practise for the Long Course Weekend and Ironman Wales swim events which take place here in July/September respectively. These large-scale multisport events kick off on this very beach and those large windows in the Harbour Heights apartment make for the perfect viewpoint.

At one end of North Beach lies the picture-perfect harbour where you can board boat trips to Caldey Island or take a sea fishing expedition, plus you can pick up some super-fresh local seafood from one of the huts. Wander to the top of Castle Hill for epic sights across Carmarthen Bay and over Caldey Island before venturing onto Castle Beach, where you might like to launch your kayak to try and see St Catherine’s Fort up close.
Come low tide, this bay merges with South Beach - the dog-friendly shoreline in the town. Here you’ll find sand sprinkled with families playing beach games and a tide dotted with surfers.
Venture into the heart of the town for independent shopping and an impressive plethora of eateries; think of quality dining in great restaurants, cute cafes with homemade cakes and good coffee as well as popular pubs by the sea.
The activities on offer don’t stop there though, plan a trip to Tenby and you’ll likely struggle to narrow down your to-do list for the week’s itinerary! Take the short drive inland to reach adventure and theme parks like The Dinosaur Park and Oakwood or spend the day at Folly Farm or Manor Park for animals and wildlife. Pack the walking boots and explore the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, head to the circular walk at Bosherston Lily Ponds or sightsee remarkable landmarks at The Green Bridge of Wales and St Govans Head.
