Our holiday cottages in Aberfforest are ideally situated for exploring this very special bay on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast, which is dotted with sandy coves and is a favourite haunt for seals and dolphins.
Ancient deciduous woodland runs down tiny valleys to the sea's edge and birdwatchers and naturalists alike delight in the abundance of local wildlife – the area is, quite simply, a nature lover’s paradise.
The small, sandy Aberfforest Beach is perfect for swimming or kayaking and you may sometimes be joined in the water by an inquisitive seal! The bay, which can only be reached by the general public via a long footpath, is partly private but visitors can use the launching facilities with prior arrangement.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path also runs past Aberfforest; why not follow this famous route to enjoy some fantastic scenic walks to Newport beach and Dinas Head? The villages of Dinas and Newport, with their shops, pubs and restaurants, are less than two miles away and getting to them makes for a pleasant stroll in good weather.
Whatever you choose to do during your stay at one of our Aberfforest holiday cottages, we can guarantee that you will have a truly relaxing time.
