A 10 minute walk down quiet lanes takes you to Tregwynt Woollen Mill with its lovely café and shop, selling their exclusive and stunning wool products.

Self-catering holidays in Abermawr
Abermawr, the birthplace of the popular Llangloffan cheeses, is set within Tregwynt Manor Estate- once one of the largest country estates in Wales. Consequently, there are numerous lovely stone cottages and mills in individual idyllic settings dotted through the wooded areas that merge into the coast at both Abermawr and Aberbach beach- both of which are within walking distance.
The deciduous woods are National Trust land and have many lovely walks which coincide well with the Coastal Path to provide spectacularly scenic, circular routes. Otters, badgers, foxes and buzzards form a community larger than the human residency here. Abermawr is certainly a special place. Located within the breath-taking Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park, Abermawr is alive with fabulous footpaths and is also popular with cyclists- a national cycle route runs past the villages’ crossroads.
A 10 minute walk down quiet lanes takes you to Tregwynt Woollen Mill with its lovely café and shop, selling their exclusive and stunning wool products. Strumble Head with bird observatory and lighthouse is within a short drive, as is Mathry village with its pub serving good food. Take a 10 minute drive to the harbour town of Fishguard with its lovely farmers' market or a visit to the tiny city of St Davids - its excellent shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants are a must. For the more adventurous of visitors, try surfing at the beautiful Whitesands Beach.
