Dale is an unspoiled and eye-catching area and along with it’s pebble beach (with some sand), it attracts a number of visitors throughout the year.
Dale’s sheltered harbour, at the entrance to the Milford Haven waterway, is a favourite with yachtsmen, kayakers and windsurfers; Henry VII landed here with his troops before marching with them to Bosworth in 1485. There is a lovely walk from the harbour along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to wonderful West Dale Beach that is certainly worth taking.
The village, coastal path and breath-taking clifftops create a sanctuary for visitors who truly want to get away and explore. Dale’s location also provides a great opportunity for offshore boat trips, where fauna and flora can be photographed in abundance.
The Griffin Inn is a fabulous pub which provides a special dining experience, set on the waterfront. A relaxed atmosphere, along with very friendly service, simply adds to the great, locally-sourced food, Welsh ales and fine wines that you will love. What could be better than enjoying a lovely meal in a traditional, waterside pub and then strolling back to spend the night at one of our cosy holiday cottages in Dale?
Dale also has an activity centre providing water sports tuition and boat hire.
