Coastal Cottages Staff Play in the Park
Rewarding our staff with an extra day of Annual Leave to Play in the Park
Here at Coastal Cottages, we are a team who each live, work and breathe in the National Park. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a remarkable 612 square kilometres space jam-packed with spectacular beaches, a magnificent 186 mile Coast Path (also a National Trail), an abundance of quirky villages, quaint harbours and charming independent restaurants. That’s exactly why we have a staff scheme specially dedicated to encouraging our staff to enjoy the National Park.
With our Play in the Park programme, our team are each invited to take one additional day of Annual Leave per calendar year to quite literally, play in the park. This scheme is all about getting out and about, and making the most of the incredible National Park within which we live.
The possibilities for how they spend their Play in the Park Day are endless. They could book onto a guided tour of one of the fascinating castles, head out to one of the adventure parks, walk a stretch of the Coastal Path or spend the day hopping from one exhilarating activity to another.
To fully indulge in the Pembrokeshire experience, we ask our team to fully embrace the tourist within them and to live like holidaymakers for the day. We want our team to all eat in the restaurants they might not usually, visit the places they rarely get a chance to go to and shop in all of the wonderful independent stores we have burrowed in our villages and nestled in our towns.
