St Brides is a small coastal village situated along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
The highlight of this naturally beautiful area is its sheltered cove, which at low tide reveals a lovely stretch of golden sand, with a huge bed of pebbles found further up the beach. An excellent choice for bathing and rock pooling, this idyllic spot – known as St Bride’s Haven - is a true hidden gem which anyone staying in one of our holiday cottages in St Brides simply has to discover.
The parish of St Brides is home to a small Norman church and the magnificent St Brides Castle, which has been used variously over the years as a mansion, hospital and holiday accommodation! And, despite the village’s modest size and relatively remote location, there are several good places to eat and drink in the area, including the cosy and proudly traditional Saint Bride’s Inn at nearby Little Haven.
The village of Marloes is the closest sizeable settlement to our St Brides holiday cottages, where you will find a pub, restaurant, café and small shop/Post Office from which fresh bread can be bought daily. If you want to explore a wider variety of facilities and attractions, however, the towns of Haverfordwest and Milford Haven are both within a 20-minute drive.
