2023 Blue Flag Beaches
The iconic Blue Flag Award marks those beaches with exceptional water quality, safety and environmental management. This year in Pembrokeshire, 10 beaches have been awarded a Blue Flag from Keep Wales Tidy.
These beaches showcase the dedication and commitment of Pembrokeshire, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy a clean, safe and exceptional seaside experience. Here are all of the current Blue Flag beaches in Pembrokeshire.

Amroth Beach is a great sandy beach, backed by a charming coastal village where time seems to have stood still. Stretching the whole length of the village, it has an extremely low tide from which you can still see the Petrified Forest, destroyed when sea levels rose 7000 years ago. Fossilised antlers, nuts, animal remains and Neolithic flints have all been discovered here over the years.
Amroth also marks the start of the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, one of Britain’s 17 long-distance national trails. You’ll find a paid car park located just behind the shops in the village. There are also some spaces along the sea wall including some disabled spaces near the toilet and baby changing facilities at the west end of the beach.
