This incredible event brings a whole number of athletes and supporters to the streets of Tenby and the surrounding Pembrokeshire villages for the weekend. Whether you're an athlete or a supporter, the atmosphere in Tenby is like nothing else in the world - definitely a recommended event to attend!
The day starts with a very early swim on North Beach, followed by a substantial 112-mile cycle and a full marathon. Following an entirely south county route, athletes cannot deny this is truly a stunning location with some spectacular viewpoints along the way.

IRONMAN Wales consists of a 2.4-mile sea swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a full 26.2-mile marathon - all in one day! This world-famous event takes place in Tenby, on the stunning Pembrokeshire coast and hosts over 2,000 athletes competing in the event and some 8,000 visitors who will accompany athletes or come to watch this spectacular event.
