Croesgoch itself is a small village with a pub, and the home and art gallery of the world renowned artist –John Knapp-Fisher. The village is conveniently located only minutes from the beautiful fishing port of Porthgain and beaches of Abermawr, Traethllyn and Abereiddy- famous for hosting the Red Bull Diving Championships in its Blue Lagoon.
Bordered by Solva to the east, the tiny City of St Davids to the south and Goodwick and Fishguard to the north, Croesgoch is an ideal holiday spot for great access to this area of Pembrokeshire.
History states that here the lanes ran red with martyr's blood, hence the translation of Croesgoch – ‘Bloody Cross'. The tributary of the Western Cleddau River started as a trickle in a field near this area. In addition to the popular surfing beach of Whitesands, the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is easy to reach- bring your camera along this beautiful part of the coastline, to ensure you capture every glorious sight.
Golf is also available in St Davids, Mathry and Haverfordwest. Croesgoch is a perfect Pembrokeshire holiday getaway to escape to, all year round.
