A large, original stone family home set in the village of Pelcomb Cross set back from the St Davids road and just 5 miles from Newgale’s blue flag beach. Pelcomb Cross Farmhouse is beautifully and comfortably furnished by the owner who lives in the attached annex, yet it retains its farmhouse charm with beams and exposed stone work; the spacious kitchen/diner has lovely rustic pine units, Aga and a large farmhouse table to enjoy leisurely family meals. This leads to the large lounge decorated in warm rich tones, with comfy sofas and woodburning stove for cosying up on chillier evenings. French doors from the kitchen open to the enclosed garden with prettily, landscaped patio area; while the rear lawn gives space for children to play.
A two minute walk takes you to the friendly village pub, while the market town of Haverfordwest with its excellent facilities and bustling farmers market is just a short drive away. There are a wealth of beautiful sandy beaches close by including Newgale and Broad Haven - both having watersports facilities and popular with surfers, as well as the pretty coves of Little Haven and Nolton.
A wonderful holiday home for family and friends to explore Pembrokeshire.

The Austin/Birkett/Williams families back again! Another great holiday. We had an extra 1 this time but fitted perfectly still! The weather was probably better this time, especially Monday bank holiday when we were at Folly Farm. Would particularly recommend the 'Dragon & Pearl' Chinese restaurant in Haverfordwest. Saundersfoot and Bosherston Lily ponds also made for lovely days out and Bluestone's Blue Lagoon swimming pool was loved by all the children - twice! A lovely holiday all round, thank you!
What a lovely big house, great place to spend time with family. Thank you!
Thank you for letting us stay in your home at such short notice for our last minute trip to Wales. It is a lovely, comfortable house and we have felt very at home here. A good test for us is that our dog settles the first night and she was dozing within about an hour! We are regular visitors to the area and this has been a good base for getting to our dog friendly beaches. Broad Haven and Newgale are only 15 minutes away. Slightly further afield are Freshwater West (great food at Cafe Mor!), Tenby and Barafundle. We also walked 7.5 miles around Llys Y Fran. There are lots of facilities, which is great for those of us that are tied to the house more. We had a great break and would be happy to stay again.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We loved the house. Beautiful Christmas Tree and tasteful decorations. Our Christmas morning was picture perfect. Was so lovely to stay somewhere with a real chimney for Santa!! Our 3 children have loved it here. Plenty of space for them to get away from the adults. We brought a games table for the 3rd floor and was still plenty of room. The kitchen table is gorgeous and perfect for Christmas dinner. Bath is amazing, water was hot. Beds super comfortable. I was thrilled to discover tartan bedding in the drawers to add to the festive vibe of the house! Overall we had the most magical Christmas. We would definitely recommend your beautiful home.
Nice location, lovely, friendly pub nearby, the Pelcomb Inn, who welcome dogs.
