About The Blue House

The Blue House is a superb timber lodge nestling in the ancient woodland of Trefloyne Manor Golf Course and Country Club, less than 1 mile from the glorious Tenby South beach.

This quality holiday home offers a contemporary feel with added touches collected by the owners from their travels abroad. The spacious, modern, fitted kitchen/diner also has easy seating for relaxing. Doors open to the decked veranda that wraps around the lodge, a super spot to relax on a summer’s evening. There are two twin bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, open-tread stairs lead up to a spacious sitting room on the first floor, the glassed gable gives lovely views through the surrounding woodland and French doors open to a decked balcony, its elevated position nestling amongst the mature trees makes it feel like you are staying in a tree house. Enjoy drinks on a summer’s evening listening to the birdsong and the leaves gently whispering in the breeze. The bird life will amaze, all to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own chair. There is a super master ensuite bedroom on the first floor too. 

To the side of the lodge is a small grassed area, prettily planted, a wonderful woodland dell where you can relax and listen to the birdsong. Perfect for keen golfers, enjoy a round of golf at this picturesque golf course. Enjoy a meal in the popular club house restaurant and bar. Luxurious relaxing treatments are available at the Dovecote Spa, located next to the club, only 200 yards from your door. The stunning sandy Tenby South beach is less than 1 mile walk, the medieval walled town of Tenby with its picturesque harbour, choice of a further 3 beaches is less than 5 minutes away by car. Enjoy wandering its pretty cobbled streets, taking advantage of the choice of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries. A boat trip to Caldey Island, home to the Cistercian monks should not be missed, revel in its unique peaceful atmosphere or why not enjoy a fishing trip.

Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this breathtaking coastline on foot, to the west lies Lydstep and Manorbier, each with its own sandy beach or to the east is the popular seaside village of Saundersfoot, Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth. There really is something for everyone with a host of family attractions including Folly Farm, Manor Wildlife Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Oakwood Theme Park, all within a short drive.

Property approached via an A road, then via lane, along private access road. Parking for up to 2 vehicles is directly outside the property on an area constructed from recycled materials (not level). More parking on a grassy strip and at Trefloyne Golf Club car park. Main entrance door reached by three 7 inch high steps with hand rail. Alternative entrance is via a concrete path at the rear of the property leading to a ramp and terrace made from wooden decking then the 32 inch wide front door. Ground level facilities include kitchen, dining area, small sitting area with low sofa, desk and high back chair, bathroom with shower cubicle and bath with movable grab handle/wc/wash hand basin, two bedrooms with two single beds and one with television operated by remote control. All doors on the ground level have an opening of 30.25 inches. Wooden decking terrace around property with patio furniture. Tended grassy area to the side is usable (in good weather) but the surface is not even. External lighting to front of downstairs decking and balcony is activated by a switch in the dining and living room areas near the external doors. External lighting system by the front door is motion activated by a switch inside by the front door that needs to remain in the “on” position. Main living room is on the first floor and is accessed by a wooden open tread staircase. Other facilities on the first floor include the double bedroom with ensuite shower/wc/wash hand basin.
