There is a friendly village pub, serving food within walking distance (seasonal opening), as well as a well-stocked garden nursery and local health and beauty spa. We had the most wonderful week at the Glen , Beautiful house , idyllic location , perfect for Tenby and surrounding beaches and attractions , The dogs loved the gorgeous garden , Can highly recommend this property
This was our first visit to this part of Pembrokeshire, We enjoyed lovely beach and coast path walks, however we found the coastal path around Lydstep rather disappointing, much better walking around Manorbier, Freshwater east and Stackpole, Unfortunately most of the week was mist fog and drizzle so we couldnt appreciate the lovely views from the walks, The house is beautiful with lots of chararcter, its warm comfortable and well equipped-a true "home from home"Our golden retriever enjoyed the enclosed garden
We had a perfect Easter vacation. the house and location are fabulous. It has been lovely to go walking each morning from the house, Loved the entire coastline from Tenby to Barafundle, Definitely hope to return again, many thanks
Visit no 6, Nothing has changed all is excellent as usual (new tv) We love this house it is a true family home. Not a single drop of rain all week , Lots of eating, walking , golf and sleeping, We will be back soon, Thank you one negative -children very upset no waves for surfing (their partners very happy!!)
Beautiful fully stocked house in fantastic location, Great weather all week except the first day,Lots of walks , good eating and drinking,in Tenby and Lydstep (tavern and waves italian superb) My family and I have been coming to this part of the world for over 50 years as it is beautiful. But this is by far the best holiday we have had so far, Will definitely be coming back to the Glen
What a lovely house, Had a great stay shame the weather wasnt that good
Beautiful fully stocked house in a fantastic location.Great weather all week bar the first day. Lots of walking , good eating and drinking in Tenby and in Lystep (Tavern and Waves restaurant) My family and I have been coming to this part of the world for 50 years as it is beautiful but this is the best holiday house so far. We will definately be coming back to the Glen.
Hopefully as the first people to rent The Glen the outlook looks good for the future! The weather was basically unbroken sunshine for 8 days broken by a few hours of sea mist -not a hardship! The house itself is truly a home from home, very comfortable for a family and big enough to be able to have some peace or if you have teachers as children who want to mark in peace! that is if the weather isnt so beautiful that you spend all day out of doors in the beautiful well tended garden, We have been to Tenby, Lystep. Penally every year for the past 18yrs and The Glen is certainly one of the best rentals! For good food the Lystep Tavern is good for an easy meal. The Coast in Saundersfoot is for a more expensive treat.Waves restaurant in Celtic Haven continues to be excellent and very convenient.Beaches and places to go -too many to mention but you will find them! Thank you
