About Tyrhibin Ganol

Tyrhibin Ganol is a charming stone cottage with sea views, one of a pair set in rolling countryside down a quiet country lane, yet less than a mile from the beautiful beach of Newport Sands.

Renovated throughout, it has been given a contemporary look and is comfortably furnished in bright warm tones. The newly fitted modern kitchen/diner is well-equipped for preparing and enjoying family meals. The back hall leads through to a pretty light double bedroom with glimpses of the sea and a lovely shower room. The back door opens to an enclosed lawned cottage garden where you can dine alfresco on a summer’s evening.

Stairs from the kitchen/diner lead to the galleried sitting room on the first floor and single bedroom with full sized pull out single trundle bed, meaning the cottage can accommodate 4.  Enjoy the sea views over Newport bay while you relax in the light and comfortable sitting room.

Tucked away, a footpath leads down to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, half a mile away so you can really explore this stunning coastline. Newport Sands beach and golf club is within walking distance, less than 1 mile away. Keen golfers will marvel at the course with its beautiful backdrop over the beach and out to sea. Enjoy breakfast or lunch at the Cat Rock Cafe overlooking the sea.

Spend your days on the beach, the area is popular with sailing enthusiasts with many local events held throughout the year centring on the sea. The area teams in bird and wildlife on this tidal estuary where the river Nevern meets the sea. The small town of Newport is just a few minutes’ drive away and has interesting pubs, restaurants, craft shops and galleries to wander and enjoy.

An ideal holiday cottage for just a couple or family to get away from it all and enjoy a slower pace to life.

Mark & Lynne

We've thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely, cosy cottage. It's so well equipped and in a fabulous spot with great views. Thanks too for the welcome pack - much appreciated. We have been blessed with the weather, bright and sunny with clear blue skies. One day the temperature reached 15° which is amazing given the time of year. Only one day of rain. We've visited St.Davids (saw the Bishop in the Cathedral!), Cardigan, Pentre Ifan Burial Mound and enjoyed walks on the Cliffs. We didn't manage to get to the Iron Age Village, maybe next time as we would love to return.

Louise Dave & Edna the dog

Enjoyed our brief stay, the view from the sitting room is fantastic. Cottage is cosy and well equipped. Great walks to Newport and Edna loved the beach.

We have enjoyed our week in your tastefully modernised and cosy cottage. We especially liked Ceibwr Bay and the walk down from Moylegrove. We also saw a weasel swimming and then running around in the grass.

Mr & Mrs Govan

We have had a lovely weekend at the cottage. So clean, cosy and what views. The weather was cold and windy but it is December. We have stayed at many Pembrokeshire cottages over the years and this is one of the best. We will be back. Thank you.

Brilliant, lovely cottage, so comfortable, everything you could wish for. And so close to gorgeous Newport Beach. Dolphins spotted at Dinas Cross, great fish and chips at Pat's Plaice, lovely cafes and shops in Newport. Each night watching the sun go down from the lounge - superb. Sandpiper spotted walking the beach, dog socialising lots and lots. And finally a swim on the last day - exhilarating!
