Vista Mar is a single level bungalow with a large slightly raised patio area and surround gated garden. There are three gated entrances to the property. 1. On the north side of the property – adjacent to the road - there is a black metal gate which has a ~2 cm cement lip base. Through this gate there are three wooden steps leading down to a pebbled walkway. 2. On the south western corner of the property there is a green wooden gate accessible from a gravel road, leading onto the back garden lawn. 3. On the south eastern corner there is a wooden gate entrance directly off a gravel driveway, leading onto the back garden lawn. There are three doors for entrance to the property 1. On the north side a single uPVC double glazed door with a ~5 cm uPVC door lip. 2. On the south side double uPVC doors opening onto a patio deck, which at its lowest is ~12 cm from garden lawn level. There is a ~10 cm uPVC lip to enter the property through these doors. The kitchen is tiled, with a low oven, electric cooker hob and stand up fridge/freezer. The kitchen leads onto the sitting room with a slight lip and has a non-working fireplace in the corner, and French doors onto the patio. The room contains a large picnic style table, a reading chair, and a sofa with ottomans. In the entire cottage, the walls are an off-white colour and the floor is pale wood. There are three bedrooms off a hallway, the doorway from the living room into the hallway is roughly 56 cm in width. In each room the positioning of the beds finds one side of the beds (be it a King size or single trundle bed) adjacent to the wall. Two rooms have King sized beds with drawers underneath, and one room has a single bed with full size single pull-out trundle bed. Ceiling height is approx. 205 cm. The shower in the main bathroom is a corner shower and has two doors that slide open, with a shower tray and an adjustable shower nozzle. There are two toilets in the property. The decking area off the sitting room is ample in size but does not have a surrounding railing. There is a drop on either side of the patio (left and right) onto the grass of about half a foot, and then in front of several feet onto the grass. At the front of the patio, there are several high plants that provide a boundary. The grass area runs in front of the patio, leading into surrounding flowerbeds; the entire area is gated and extends behind the house as well. Outside on the patio, there is an outdoor sofa, a table and four chairs with an umbrella. All can be put away (excluding the sofa) in the greenhouse next to the patio. There is a two car driveway gated off but attached to the property accessed by a small public road in the back of the property (on the ocean side) that the neighbours all share. This is a low traffic area and is solely used by neighbours and the postman. There is no public transport to the house and there is a car park two houses down from the property.
Nicely appointed with great decking area and amazing views. Most of the equipment you would expect and nice quality too.

We loved our stay. The house is really close to the beach and the beach is wonderful. It was a perfect place for us to bring our somewhat anxious rescue dog. The garden is secure and the beach is really spacious- especially at low tide - so we could let him off the lead. As the house isn’t on a main road it is quiet too. It is a short drive (or a longer but doable walk) to Stackpole. You can park at the national trust car park and walk to Broad Haven (south) beach which has amazing soft sand and dunes. And was also great for our dog. Barafundel beach is also nearby and you can do a circuit walk to visit both (it took us about 2 hours). Also don’t miss the pub at Manorbier (another short drive) which does fab flat breads and pizza (amongst many other things).
