Swallows Rest has been finished to a high standard; comfortably and stylishly furnished it retains original features with some changes of levels. The large, beautifully fitted farmhouse kitchen with traditional style Aga is ideal for family meals and leads to a sheltered, paved patio and enclosed, lawn garden ideal for alfresco dining and for children to play; while the light spacious lounge has a wood burning stove for chillier evenings and plenty of comfortable seating, open tread stairs lead to the gallery master bedroom nestling in the eaves with ensuite shower room. 3 steps from the hall leads to the spacious twin room, while open tread stairs lead to a double bedroom and snug/small sitting room.
Tucked away yet conveniently located, a short drive will take you to Porthgain with its popular pubs and the beautiful beaches of Abereiddy and the Blue Lagoon made famous by the Red Bull Diving Championships and Abermawr, as well as the popular surfing beach of Whitesands. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and explore this stunning coastline. Golf is available in St Davids, Mathry and Haverfordwest; this riverside market town is well worth a visit. The tiny city of St David's is only a 10 minute drive away with its excellent facilities, cathedral and Bishops Palace.

We found Swallows Rest to be lovely and comfortable house, good facilities and we took great comfort in the aga.
We had another splendid holiday here at Swallows Rest. A perfect day on Ramsey Island. We have walked and cycled around this lovely bit of the world. Only one swim in the sea though! Food at the Bishops in St Davids and the Royal Oak was pretty good and as ever the fish and chips from Porthgain was excellent. Thank you again for a really great holiday, we'll be back.
5 of us came to Swallows Rest, Close to being one of the best, The girls went off on their bikes, 2 of us wished we had trikes. Sadly the week is over, that the rub. Still we can reminisce, down at the pub. Weekend coming, time to roam Thank you for letting us use your home :)

A lovely home, we've loved being here. Our daughter got married in the cathedral so Swallows Rest was a marvellous base for the family. We will go away with very happy memories.
