About The Swan

A beautifully renovated apartment in a stunning location over The Swan Inn, in the picturesque village of Little Haven, with views that will take your breath away. Shared outdoor stone steps lead up through the pub terrace to your own front door. The Swan Inn, grade 2 listed, is over 200 years old and this super first floor apartment has been lovingly restored and retains plenty of original features, the open-plan living space with its vaulted ceiling, exposed A-frame beams and bay windows ensure a light and airy feel, you will not want to tear yourself away from the awesome views over this pretty inlet, sandy beach and out to sea. When the tide is in, it almost feels like you could be at sea with the water lapping just below your window.

There is a modern, fitted, kitchen area, farmhouse style dining table and comfortable seating to relax on, a wood burning stove ensures a cosy feel on those chillier evenings. The master bedroom offers the same stunning aspect, wake in the morning and watch the sun glisten on the water when the tide is in. Enjoy meals in The Swan Inn, highly recommended or sit on the pub terrace outside your door, exclusively yours while the pub is closed, enjoy a drink from the outside bar while you soak up the beautiful sea view.

There are a choice of other pubs, restaurants and cafes for you to sample all within walking distance in Little Haven. Spend your days on the sandy beach just yards from your apartment or water sport enthusiasts will love just messing around on the water. At low tide walk along the beach to the neighbouring village of Broad Haven with its long sandy beach and choice of facilities, there is even a water sports hire shop so you can try your hand at a new activity. Alternatively, take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, running past your door to explore this stunning coastline on foot. Explore the tiny City of St Davids with its Cathedral and Bishops Palace.

Property located on first floor above The Swan Inn Pub which has seasonal opening times. Access to front door is via 10 external stone steps to side of pub and across the pub terrace. The pub terrace has stone flagstones and is flat. There is a chest high wall and railing across the front of the terrace which overlooks the bay. There is a short walkway of decking up to front door which may become slippy when wet or icy. There is full WiFi service. Windows are sash windows and single glazed. There is a step down from the front door to the hall. There are two steps to bedroom 1 and the bathroom and a step down to bedroom 2. There is also a flight of stairs leading off the hall down to a door to the ground floor pub. However there is no access to the pub via this door for apartment guests. Bathroom facilities include a toilet, basin, roll top bath and a shower. There are external lights off the terrace and a timed daylight lamp in the hallway. Guide dogs welcome. Set down/loading parking is available 25m away from apartment. There is a slope from the set down parking area up to the steps that lead to the apartment. Car Parking is in National Parks car park 200m away.
