Gwyndy Bach is a desirable dormer bungalow in the heart of the tiny city of St Davids. Set back off the road in its own enclosed garden, you are just a few steps from its excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries for you to browse. The magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace are well worth a visit whilst children will love the playground nearby. Comfortably furnished throughout in a contemporary style with a modern fitted kitchen.
Treat yourself to a meal out at one of the recommended pubs, restaurants or cafes only yards from your doorstep. The spacious dual aspect lounge/diner gives plenty of space to relax with French doors opening to the sheltered, paved patio - a real sun trap. Here you can enjoy a summer's barbecue while a few shallow steps lead up to the lawned garden which is prettily planted; it is easy to forget that you are in the centre of St Davids. The comfortable double bedrooms are a welcome retreat while stairs lead from the lounge to another bedroom in the eaves, as well as a second TV/playroom. You will realise just how close the sea is when you catch the distant coastal views from the landing window.
There are 4 sandy beaches nearby with Caerfai, the closest, less than 1 mile walk away. The beautiful Whitesands is popular with children and surfers alike and only a 5 minute drive away. Take a boat trip from St Justinians to Ramsey Island, an amazing bird sanctuary which gives you a chance to see seals up close.
Ideally situated, perfect for families and couples whatever the time of year.
NB. Restricted headroom in the eaves.
