About Llyswen

Llyswen is a beautifully presented detached bungalow in the most amazing position overlooking Newport Golf Course with stunning views over Newport Sands and out to sea from nearly every room. Set on a no-through lane, keen golfers will be in their element with the golf course next door, there is also the Cat Rock Café and bar where you can enjoy a meal all while you soak up the wonderful sea views.

Step into the practical large glazed porch, perfect for storing your walking or beach gear, this leads into the conservatory dining room with comfortable seating where you can enjoy family meals or just relax all while you soak up the fabulous views. The cottage-style fitted kitchen is well-equipped and has a useful breakfast table while the sitting room with its comfortable sofas is a lovely spot to relax, its large glazed window also offers amazing views with sliding doors opening to the paved terrace and enclosed lawned garden, alfresco meals on summer days can be enjoyed here while you follow the golfers progress and the waves breaking on the beach beyond. The master room with its zip and link super king is spacious with an ensuite bathroom, the large window really maximises the sea view and ensures a light and airy feel, a French door also opens to the paved terrace running along the back of the house. One of the other double bedrooms also offers a sea view.

With the golden sands of Newport Beach within walking distance, spend your days on the beach, set on the mouth of the River Nevern Estuary, the bird and wildlife is sure to delight. Perfect for walkers, enjoy walks round this tidal estuary or join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore more of this stunning rugged coastline with its hidden coves and beaches, heading north to Ceibwr Bay and Poppit Sands or to the south lies Cwm Yr Egwlys and Pwllgwaelod. The circular walk round Dinas Head is sure to be a firm favourite. There are a host of facilities in Newport only a few minutes drive away with shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and galleries. There is vibrant local community here holding a number of events, most centering on the sea, with its popular boat club so ideal for sailing enthusiasts and anyone who just enjoys messing around on the water.  Take one of several paths from the town and Head up Carn Ingli - Mountain of Angels the views over the coastline are simply stunning and well worth the effort.
