Ty Siani is just 200 yards from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and surrounded by National Park, making it a very special location. Along an unmade drive the renovated cottage is a lovely, light home with a spacious feel whilst still retaining several original features, but with the addition of modern day facilities. A stone fireplace with multi fuel stove provides a cosy out of season break - while away the evening on the piano.
The garden provides a retreat for summer days. Glimpses of the sea over St Brides Bay towards the bird islands adds to the charm. The attractions of St Davids, Solva, Whitesands beach and many other beaches are within a few minutes' drive.

Access via the A487 and then just over 1/2 mile of narrow country lane. The cottage is approximately 60 yards down a rough farm track off the lane. There is parking on hard standing for 2 cars by the cottage. The main entrance is at the top of three steps. The garden is sloping and mainly lawned. There is a steep slope in the lawn by the back of the house. Kitchen, bathroom (with shower above the bath), separate WC and 2 bedrooms are on one level. The lounge is down three steps from the kitchen. There is a staircase to the third bedroom above the lounge. The cottage is well lit throughout (both natural and artificial lighting). Guide dogs and pets are welcome.
Thank you so much for out wonderful little break. The house was always warm and everything was clean and smelt amazing! We had a fun thunderstorm too. Definitely will be coming back (again)
Diolch yn fawr! Love this place so much. I want to take up the piano again! Another lovely break - the storm was a bonus!
A treat from my wife for my Birthday. Loved the cottage and the location. Had a marvellous week end with cold dry weather. Walked till out legs ached and relaxed in front of the fire at night. Many Thanks for a very special time.
We loved our visit to the Pembrokeshire Coastline. Very much appreciated the luxury and convenience of a cottage - a welcome change from camping! Perfect layout and enough room for a family of 6 plus a baby (who had her 1st Birthday here) and dog. Thanks so much!
Our third visit and possibly the best! Four wonderful beach days. Two sessions at the escape room, lunch at Solva, Porthgain and The Cross in St Davids. Lovely dog walks along the cliffs. All the usual stuff, made extra special by wonderful weather.
Beautiful walks/amazing views and cosy cottage make for a perfect break. Loved being surrounded by wild flowers and stunning horizons. Solva crab is a must:- through Solva village over the bridge and up the hill. Looking forward to returning to this little gem again.
Lovely time thank you despite illness (out of hours NHS/DR at Withybush very helpful) We mostly did Newgale and Solva which are our favourites. Pregnant Ponies on the airfield so maybe foals for next visitors.
Delightful cottage. Set in a delightful location. Wonderful walks to both St David's and Solva. Locals are friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to all.
A fabulous week in a beautiful part of the country. Enjoyed coastal walks with breath taking scenery and enjoyed exploring St David's city too. Had a lovely boat trip from Martin's Haven round Skomer and saw lot's of puffin's. Cottage is comfortable and well equipped. No complaints would love to come back
Stunning weather mixed with rain and cold on some days.
Another fantastic week at Ty Siani. Thank you for the new bathroom it is brilliant and much appreciated, as is the rest of this lovely house. The set up with the bedrooms works ideally for us as they are just right for our different needs, for which we are very grateful. We have had warm, sunny weather all week with just one night of rain and brisk NW breezes to stop walks becoming too hot. The coastal path is an abundance of wild flowers at the moment. It is spectacular and the sea has never varied from being azure blue to jade green - Fantastic. Regular watering hole this week have been The Pebbles Yard and Cathedral Refectory in St David's and Solva Wollen Mill which have all provided tasty, home-made fayre and decent coffee that's not from one of the chains. If you go to the Wollen Mill, the walk there from the centre of Solva is well worth undertaking as you go along the most beautiful, quiet lane with ancient woodland on one side and the river on the other. There is also a small holding of alpacas along the way. It really is a special place. Here's wishing you a very happy time here.
Lovely shy cottage in a beautiful location.
We choose Ty Siani because of the location and the piano (Thank you for this and the music) we have had a wonderful week here and enjoyed the coastal path walks. Both dogs return to London exhausted!! Leaving Ty Siani reluctantly to return to London we hope to return soon. Fabulous week at Ty Siani, beautiful location and great area. Fantastic coastal walks, so peaceful here thank you.
Lovely stay. Mixed but generally good weather. The location was brilliant for walking and close to Newgale and Whitesands which were both good surfing beaches. We previously had surf lessons from a small place at Nolton Haven which was good value and small groups so overall a good bet. The cottage has been very comfortable although we have found the fridge to be a little unreliable at times. A curtain on the kitchen door would also make it more comfortable for dogs in windy weather. Overall a lovely cottage and location. If you are looking to go coeasteering we would defientley recommend a smaller company in St David's on the road to Caersai beach on the left. Brilliant day out.
We went to the beach and we built a mermaid sand castle. I went in the sea, I jumped in the waves and we have ice creams, I had mint ozzy had bubblegum, mum had caramel and edris had a milkshake. We had a lovely time mostly on the beach, we went to Newgale, Porthgain, Solva and Caerbwdi. We collected sea glass, pebbles and shells and we have left them for people to add to and enjoy. You can set upu mini beaches! We made friends with the cows who have been looking at us in the garden.
We had a wonderful first family holiday with our 4 month old boy and his grandparents (seasoned Pembrokeshire visitors) we enjoyed some fabulous walks along the coastal footpath Aberidey to Porthgain is pushchair friendly and a sunny day on NEwgale were Sophie the Setter enjoyed a bit of body sufing. The Sloop and The Shed in Porthgain were both excellent and dog friendly if you sit outside. Solva's Bay view stores was a daily trip for the papers and the locals couldn't have been friendlier.
Disappointing weather until Thursday but still a lovely time and glad of the wood burner to warm us up
Many thanks for a lovely stay in Ty Siani. The cottage suited us perfectly and our 11 month old granddaughter settled in well as did our Pembrokeshire corgi and our older grandchildren. We all enjoyed the coastal walks, horse riding and coeasteering and had fun at NOlton Haven Beach. A great week and a welcome break for us all
A really relaxing fortnight in this quiet, cosy cottage which is in a superb location for walking, visiting local beaches and St Davids. A full family shop on route to the cottage at the start of the holiday was a challenge for the ageing fridge in terms of capacity and functionality. Wholesome meals in the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere of the Farmers Arms in St Davids with Sky Sports a bonus! The Piano was an added bonus for my musical son . Thank you for the stay in your cottage.
We stayed at Ty Lucy last year and have had a lovely return to the area this week (Although we haven't had the glorious sunshine that we had last year) Many highlights including seeing seal pups around St Martins Haven and the annual trip to Marloes. Ty Siani is a lovely place to stay everything a young family could need. Thank you :) p.s Tesco deliver here if you want a food delivery on your arrival.
Very enjoyable week. Weather forecast was not good but it turned out to be fine most days. Plenty of walks especially one coast path which we have walked to Solva each part is magnificent and different. The cottage was comfortable to come back to if a little scary on the lane down if driving! Has anyone thought of a one way system? We all go home tired and happy. Wonderful Pembrokeshire.
Lovely well-equipped cottage. Lucky with the weather so plenty of beach days. Folly Farm good value for a full day out. Rob boat trop and Ramsey amazing fun. All beaches excellent, Whitesands and Broad Haven for sandy fun. Caerfai for rock pooling. Good food and excellent family dining at The Sloop in Porthgain. Another enjoyable week in lovely Pembrokeshire
We've had the most amazing week of weather. The only rain restricted to nights over a few showers. This cottage is perfect - Comfortable, well appointed and right close to the Coastal Path. We've spent all the time walking - to Solva and Whitesands around the coast and cross country. New seal pups in the coves with mums close by. Great coffee at the Pebble Yeard and excellent quiche at the cathedral. One of the best holidays. Thank you Cath and Caretakers.
Great cottage. Cooked great Sunday Roast on Sunday for 6 people have everything we needed in the kitchen. More rubbish bags needed for a week. Great kayak hire shop on Newgate Beach we took our 6,8 and 11 yr olds for 2 hours with hire wetsuits, life jackets and helmets for only £70! Saw loads of seals and seal cubs at Whitesands and Newgale. OMG you have to eat at The Sloop at Porthgain amazing fish pie and The Shed at Porthgain is really good too.
40 years now of climbing, camping and walking in Pembs. Love It. Already booked Ty Siani for June 2016 for 2 weeks. One thing the garbage is all collected weekly now. Great week, great weather . Our friends in St Davids were fed by me. Created 2 new recipes/menus on the cooker here. This place is great.
Lovely week at this well equipped cottage. Weather has been fab and scenery breathtaking Whitesands is favorite beach. Girls had surf lesson there via Ma Simes surf hut - good value, just the 2 of them and Andy the instructor £70 for 2.5 hrs. Our son hired a board for £15 at Whitesands. Boofie boards £5. Walks from house left or right fabulous. Day trip to Ramsey Island great - beautiful scenery and walks and saw seals, red deer, white horses and various birds. Hired a tandem for the "old" folk and kids had own bikes (Mikes bikes in St Davids "Bike Shed") and cycled to Solva and Porthgain via country lanes to St Davids. Had lunch at Slopp Inn which was lovely but exactly same menu as Bishops Head in St Davids. Went to Solva tonight to the Harbour Inn - food slow but worth it - especially sea food specials. Benny the dog loved all walks and cottage! Thank you for a wonderful week - we hope to come back again soon. All locals very friendly and hospitalble sad to go home
A beautiful few days - mostly spent here in the garden and along the nearest cliff paths towards Solva or towards St Davids. Fishguard Music Festival next week looks really good - diverse concerts in different locations.
We have had a lovely week at the cottage and could not have asked for better weather. The perfect haven for walks in both directions with amazing views - enjoyed by the whole family during the evening BBQs. I recommend a circular walk from Porthgain passing the Blue Lagon ending in lunch at the Sloop Inn. We have had a wonderful stay at the cottage and can't wait to come back again!
Success when fiching off the rocks at Caerbwdi!
This was our first stay in Wales & Pembrokeshire. Wonderful. Thankyou for providing such a lovely cottage, we had some wonderful tours along the coast path...one week was much too short & we hope to come again...a cottage with a piano is a rare chance! I loved playing Chpoin in the evenings.
What a fantastic location & a superb cottage - what n=more could one ask for. Had a wonderful time walking along the path discovering lovely secluded sandy beaches, shame we missed the heatwave but will return I'm sure.
This is a very peaceful spot & the walks along the coast path are beautiful in either direction.
The Cottage is very comfortable & homely; it's well equipped & wonderfully secluded.
