Cwm-yr-Eglwys Beach is a petite eye-catching cove which is popular with families, kayakers and sea swimmers. Overlooking the picturesque shingle and pebble beach are the remains of the 12th Century church of St Brynach's, which was destroyed during a fierce storm in 1859. Backed by a small village, this bay is particularly popular in the summer months.
Parking is available behind the churchyard, it is free during the colder months but charged during the summer. A small hut opens up during the summer also, where you can buy cold drinks, hot drinks and ice creams.
To find Cwm-yr-Eglwys follow the narrow, twisting road off the A487 just to the east of Dinas Cross.
