Spend your days on the golden beach of Marloes Sands about 4 miles away or the sheltered cove of St Brides, 1 mile away. You will not be short of things to do with the water sports centre and sailing opportunities at Dale and the good restaurants and pubs to try in the village of Little Haven all nearby. This October, the popular ghost story of The Woman In Black comes to the Torch Theatre in a great spine-chilling stage play. Arthur Kipps is invited to tell a ghost story and so recalls his past experiences encountering the "woman in black". According to the legends, she haunts Eel Marsh House and every time she is seen, a child dies. What will be the outcome of the ghost story?The play is recommended for those aged 14 and over. The West Wales Wool Show in Narberth is a celebration of all things woolly. From beautifully hand crafted items, clothing and footwear to knitting wool, fleece and all the equipment needed to make at home. Demonstrations run throughout the day with stall holders sharing their skills and knowledge with visitors plus wool skill workshops such as felting. The main aim of the show is to support local wool producers and small craft businesses. Wool as a renewable resource is still undervalued and the show aims to bring this wonderful natural resource back into focus. The show is run by the Pembrokeshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers with support from PLANED. The 2016 show will be kindly sponsored by Emily’s Funky Knits in conjunction with Amroth Bay Holidays and by Esgair Fibres.
200 voices unite at St Davids Cathedral for A Journey of World Music on Saturday 15th October. This concerts stars the Hywel Girls' Choir and Hywel Boy Singers, the Llanelli Choral Society, the Haverfordwest Male Voice Choir and the Angelicus Chorale. Music will include songs such as Ave Maria, the Hallelujah Choras, Nessun Dorma, Aida's Grand March and Phantom of the Opera. The concert begins at 7.30pm and booking in advance is recommended. Held in St Brides Orchard next to St Brides Bay and the ancient church of St Bridget, St Brides. A fantastic event and opportunity to glimpse inside the courtyard of the original Kensington Castle (dating circa 1500's), to see apple pressing using the orchard's apples and ancient craft skills such as basket/willow weaving and wood carving. Teas, coffees, cakes and jars of homemade jams and chutneys for purchase in our 'Apple Cafe' with all money raised in support of St Brides and Marloes churches. Something spooky is going on this week at Folly Farm. Bring your little monsters to Folly Farm,It's going to be wicked! Milford's Torch Theatre once again brings a classic pantomime to stage - a must-see for anyone staying in Pembrokeshire this Christmas! Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle's Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom. Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way! When you have finished, pop into the Gift Shop to collect your prize. It's a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower. While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups' can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents. After the walk, what better reward than a nice warming cup of hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Courtyard Restaurant, or perhaps make it a lunchtime visit and enjoy the Spanish dish of the day with a glass of wine or beer! The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. A military fortress, museum and cafe located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The museum at Chapel Bay Fort is illustrated and explains military technology and weaponry through the ages, with a variety of displays including artillery and associated tools and instruments, WW I, Bomb Disposal and Waterloo amongst others. Volunteers are on hand to answer any question and add to your appreciation of the displays.
Guided tours are conducted by a dedicated team of volunteers and provide access to areas of the fort which are otherwise out of bounds to the public. Tours present further information about Chapel Bay Fort and the defences of Milford Haven and the Royal Dockyard at Pembroke Dock, alongside information about the large exhibits displayed on the terreplein of the fort.
A tour lasts approximately 40 minutes, and is included in the entrance fee to the museum.

We keep losing count of the number of years we have been coming down here and also being told off by our children for always saying the same thing!. the problem is every year we come we have such a fabulous time! Always wonderful to catch up with the Evans/Bolgar families, their friend the Skyes too.We wont be here next year for the first time in 9-10 years but we will be back in 2014!!Next year will not be the same without our annual dose of Pembrokeshire.

We had a wonderful week walking on the Coastal Path, enjoying the views and wildflowers and spotting seals, porpoises, choughs and kites. The cottage has been very comfortable and convenient base. We have relaxed over breakfast in the garden through to some great suppers at the kitchen table. Thank you

With all of the amazing beaches, we recommend, St Brides, Marloes, West Dale, We loved the Lobster pot Inn at Marloes, fantastic food, snooker table and free wifi we will be back! We found the wet room really useful after beach swimming, also after kayaking in Dale. It was Dads birthday he really enjoyed every minute bye bye
