Head out from your holiday cottage into town where you can pick up fresh bread and a daily paper, making the most of those stunning sea views from the promenades overlooking the beaches in this popular resort.

Stepaside to Saundersfoot
Dolly the cockapoo adores the pretty landscape of this level-pathed route along the coast and through the old railway tunnels, there's simply no better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. Taking you through the woodlands towards the sandy shore of Saundersfoot, there are plenty of opportunities for discovering nature and cubby holes.
Make a day of it and call into one of the dog friendly pubs in Saundersfoot for lunch or a pint, or take a seat on one of the benches overlooking the golden sand with an ice cream. The Periwinkle Tearoom behind the seafront even offers doggie ice cream if you want to treat your pup!
Dinas Island
Take a wonder around one of the most picturesque headlands in Pembrokeshire with a circular tour of Dinas Island which note, is only partially separated from the mainland. This is a great choice if you want the option to take a shorter walk, with a 7 mile route and a 3 mile route available.
St Davids Head
The uphill hike to the summit of Carn Llidi is a popular one whether you're walking with a dog or not, and it's extremely easy to see why as the views from the top are pretty special. Think panoramic scenes over Whitesands beach below, round to St Davids and out across the sea towards Ramsey Island.

It's a lesser-travelled path than the likes of the seaside towns and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path but don't let that fool you into thinking the views are any less rewarding. Rolling green hills and a peaceful setting make this Cabbage the cockapoo's all-time fave.
Cwm Gwaun Fishguard
